Kent State College Kent, Ohio versus
Bowling Green State College Bowling Green, Ohio
COLLEGE FIELD BOWLING GREEN, OHIO
October 13, 1934
The loyal support of the businessmen of Bowling Green last year made this style of program possible and through it hundreds of high school athletes were introduced to athletic activities in Bowling Green State College. In the confident belief that these programs are of great value in advertising the college, the publicity committee offers this, the second of a set of 1934 programs.

Welcome Kent State Bowling Green State College greets her sister school, Kent State, once more! This is our first meeting as members of the Ohio Conference and is the occasion of a happy revival of athletic relations, which, we hope will mature into a long-lasting friendship, To our natural traditional rival we extend greetings! W. E. Steller, Athletic Director P. E. Landis, Assistant Coach E. E. Andrews, Freshman Coach
Carl Stephens, of Oakwood, 0., is the most experienced lineman in the Falcon squad and is one of the outstanding linemen in the Ohio Conference. Last year, in addition to being named the most valuable man to the team and recipient of the "Brown Award", he was selected as tackle on the International News All-Ohio Conference team. This is "Steve's" last season and he is bigger than ever in addition to showing promise of being better than ever.

WHITMORJE, tackJe In five previous games between Kent State and Bowling Green State, the latter has been successful in three of them while the other two games were tied. The two schools, known as "Sister Schools" were established at the same time by the same act of the legislature in 1910 and the rivalry since then has been naturally traditional. The Record: 1920—Bowling Green 7, Kent 0 1921—Bowling Green 0, Kent 0 1922—Bowling Green 7, Kent 0 1927—Bowling Green 13, Kent 0 1928—Bowling Green 6, Kent 6
