When you say "football' you've said something at the Hotel Lubbock..We like it! We like the men who play it! And we like the fans who like it! Of course we like to see Tech win, but next to that we like to see the visitors play a good game. Win or lose we're for the great game of Football. That's why we try so hard to make the LUBBOCK a hotel where football enthusiasts will aland why we are so proud ways feel at home. .

As Others See It Fight 'Em Gang We're For You
It's nice that we can see another football game without having to listen to the radio announcer attempt to make the game seem real and exciting, or strain our imaginative resources endeavoring to figure out who's who and what's what when two or three dozen Grid Graph lights keep switching on and off.
Official Photographers For Texas Tech
Today the Red Raiders are back home for the first time since October. And thank goodness, it's not going to be a night game. The Oklahoma A. & M. college Cowboys are the opposition this afternoon, and they have plenty of pressure that they will undoubtedly put to the Raiders.

PENNEY'S For School Values Where The Student Shops and Saves
We Are Always Beh hid Tech Matadors Win (fir Lose Make Penney's Your Downtown Headquarters
A. A. Exendine, the famous old Carlisle Indian, coaches the Cowboys. Some 30 years ago when he was playing football under Pop Warner, Exendine made one of the late Walter Camp's first all-American teams. Since then the crafty Delaware Indian has coached in every section of the
United States. In 1929 he was elected assistant to Lynn 0. Waldorf at the Sooner college, and two years ago he suceeded Waldorf when the latter went to Kansas State. The Aggies have had the losing jitters during the last few years, and it wasn't until the later part of last season that the Cowboys started on their comeback trail. So for this season the Aggies have broken even in four games played, but Coach Exendine has given the Oklahoma and Stillwater fans a new type of football. Detroit university and Creighton, a member of the Missouri Valley circuit, hold victories over the Aggies. The Raiders' record is much better than the Aggies' on paper, but before the afternoon is over the fans will probably see a real football meloand an old fashion daytime drama game, at that. .

Oklahoma Aggies To The Visiting Team And Fans The Matador field is anything but a walk-over. However, you've found a team of hard-hitting footballers that make the game interesting every quarter. While here, look over the campus and the city.
Let's Go--Matadors In every play there's eleven good men in the game with you and eleven good men just a few inches from you against you. That makes the game more than worth the price of admission.

EXEND/NE
A. A. Exendine, who was an all-American on Pop Warner's Carlisle team in 1906, came to Oklahoma A. and M. in 1929 as backfield and end coach under Lynn 0. Waldorf. Exendine was the only man considered for the head coaching position when Waldorf left for Kansas State. His charges have been successful against such teams as Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Indiana, and Southern Methodist University, and he brings a strong team to Texas Tech today.
