2018 UTAH STATE SPRING FOOTBALL /// 2018 UTAH STATE SPRING PRACTICE BEGINS /// • Under the direction of sixth-year head coach Matt Wells, Utah State football will begin spring practice on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. All practices will be held at the Stan Laub Indoor Football Complex or on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium. During the five-week period, the Aggies will participate in 15 spring practice sessions, including its annual Blue vs. White Spring Game on Saturday, April 7, on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium at 2 p.m. • Utah State returns 18 starters (O-9, D-9) as part of 52 letterwinners (O-21, D-29, S-2) from last year’s team that tied for fourth place in the Mountain Division of the Mountain West with a 4-4 record and finished the season at 6-7 after playing in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl.
