Digital MoirĂŠ
Digital Moiré Digital Moiré is focused around transforming the idea of the traditional Moiré fabric by translating digital moiré patterning, which occurs when an image contains repetitive details such as lines that exceed the sensor resolution and as a result produce wavy patterns altering the image, in a literal sense. Open, loose weaves layered through the development of double and triple cloths allow overlapping yarns to produce new areas of pattern within the cloth that change with movement and changes in perspective. Taking aesthetic influence from digital waves and interference, using a mainly monochrome palette with some glitch highlights; these fabrics were designed with high-end menswear jackets in mind.
