Leading the trend: ‘She’ brings a juxtaposition of feminine perfection and rebellious outbreaks. It inspires us to move forward from the sexualised symbolism and expectations women have been exposed to. She commands tainted attitudes to regain a ladylike status, empowering women’s belonging in society. Feminine lengths and silhouettes clash with heavy, blackened embellishments. Exaggerated ornamentation derives from rebellion and power. Provocative cuts rebel the coy contours and outlines empowering the female figure.

She is anonymous.

Key facial detailing amplifies the overall style of A/W 15/16. Regal essences are modernised through structured striking lip tones. Natural nudes compliment excessive eye enhancements mirroring exaggerated garment shapes. Women’s natural radiance is defined by metallic opulence.

She is delightfully chaotic.

Combination of studs, sequins and beads creates uneven rough surfaces yet delicately reflecting light. Classic, tender silks and satins merge with substantial use of structured leather. Regal and luxurious detailing embroil with rough leathers and lace. Ruptured fabrics flirt with abundant adornments. Dark Fragmented leathers provide rigid edges and sharp angles that merge with gatherings of sheer silks. Broken metallic flecks fight through elegant layers of voiles.

She is what separates her from them.

Foundations of gentle nudes and elegant lavender blended with misty greys, rich plum and pops of red create the base for excessive brushed silvers and tonal gold decorations.
