here are several of charming places in Bangkok and other towns all over this small country that we want to introduce you to visit once. If you love to stay away from the civilized way of life then let’s go together with us. For the first issue, we begin with a walking tour at Talad Plu, the heaven for foodies. Local Thai Food : the old Thai dessert shop “Mae Udom” on Din-Sor Road in the Bangkok old town area. Cafe : Filling a cup of Caffeine and the imagination from a book to your brain at “The Passport Bookstore” on Phra Sumen Road. Product : Cool “Pa-KaoMa” cloths and accessories from COOLY Thailand. November is the begining of the winter festivals in Thailand, starting with Loy Krathong festival all over the country. We hope youguys will enjoy traveling in this lovely small country.

Talad Plu
Talad Plu is one of the old area in Bangkok which is located at the other side of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok called “Fang Thon� . We can come to Talad Plu by using the BTS Skytrain to Talad Phlu Station wand walk about five minutes to get there.

Several of street food stalls are open in the evening. This is a famous one called “Kanom-Bueng-Yuan�, still use charcoal for cooking. Enjoy to see her professional cooking while waiting for this Thai old style pancake!! YUMMY

How to get there Take BTS Skytrain to Talad Phlu Station and use the exit number 2. Next walk to the Rachadapisek Junction, then turn left, cross the street and walk along the Ratchadapisek Road about 5 minutes to Therd Thai Road or the road under the birdge.
Local Thai Food
Mae-Udom shop is one of an old local Thai dessert shop located at the Bangkok old town zone, on Din-Sor Road (near Sa-Tee-Wit-Ta-Ya School). The customer will find some rare original Thai desserts like Kanom Kao-Fang (made from millet). The foreigner love to visit here and try the recommended menu; Kanom Mo-Gang which is made from soy, taste good, less sweet and different from another shops because it is the homemade style. 92 years old owner, Mrs. Udom, said her dessert recipe is from her grandmother who worked in the Chan Palace in Nakorn Patom Province, so it’s worth to try. Open daily from 8 am to 7 pm.
