RIVERS THAT FLOW INTO THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA: - Are short and have a low discharge. - They carry little water in summer, but swell (increase) in autumn and spring - examples: the Po, the Rh么ne,an the Ebro 4. RIVERS THAT FLOW INTO THE BLACK SEA AND THE CASPIAN SEA: - Are long and have a considerable discharge - Their water is used for navigation and they are routes of communication - examples: the Volga, the Don, the Danube

RIVERS THAT FLOW INTO THA ATLANTIC OCEAN: They flow from east to west because of the inclination of the Central Plateau They are long rivers with an irregular flow (because their discharge is less in summer) - THE MIÑO: It’s similar to he Cantabrian rivers because it is in an area with regular rainfall. - THE DUERO: its source is in the Urbion Peaks and its river mouth is in Porto (Potugal) - THE TAJO: Is the longest river on he Peninsula . Its source is in the Talbarracin Range and it flows in Lisbon - THE GUADIANA: enters the Atlantic at Ayamonte in Huelva - THE GUADALQUIVIR: Its in the Cazorla Range. And flows into the Gulf of Cadiz 3. RIVERS THAT FLOW INTO THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA: Are short with a low and irregular discharge Example: the Turia, the Jucar, the Segura The EBRO is much longer and has a greater discharge, its source in Cantabria and forms a delta on the Mediterranean coast
