4. THE NEOLITHIC AGE - This period began about 8000 BC and lasted until 4000 BC. - At the beginning of his period, the vclimate became warmer and the ice that cover some parts of the world melted. Due to this, landscapes change and human beings needed to adapted.

- Changes: 1. People started cultivating plants and developed agriculture.

2. Pottery was invented. They use pots to transport food and water.

3. Textiles and baskets were invented 4. People made better tools, like ploughs and weapons (axes) All these changes were so important tha we call this period Neolithic Revolution.

4. THE NEOLITHIC AGE LIFESYLE IN THE NEOLITHIC AGE - The Neolithic revolution caused many changes in people’s lives: 1.

People didn’t need to move aroun to find food because now they had livestock and agriculture. They became sedentary.

Population increased because people ate better food.

Society became more complex. Some people worked as artisans, others worked in agriculture.

When settlements produced more than they needed, they exchange products with other settlements. This was he beginning of trade.

Specialisation appears. Craftsmen made tools and weapos.

Farmers cultivaed the fields and rose livestock.

4. THE NEOLITHIC AGE NEOLITHIC CULTURE - Neolithic culture developed in different places, especially where there were river plains: 1. In the Fertile Crescent, between the Nile River in Egypt and between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.
