Woodland Creatures Inspired by tree bark and the textures found on the surface, I developed the three prints seen on the opposite page. I imagined them being used on garments with organic shapes on the necklines, which would be reminiscent of the bark’s texture.

This page: visual inspiration, brass neck piece and wax pastel drawing, both made by me. Opposite page: final fashion and print designs.

Digital Prints This page Using the Kaledo Suite software I created six repeat digital plaid/floral prints. Opposite page Experimenting with Modaris, digital pattern-cutting and 3D model software I designed tops to place my prints on.

Illustrations A selection of hand-drawn fashion related illustrations and collages. Various media: pencils, charcoal, pens and inks.

The transformational journey of a butterfly was my starting point for the creation of the print and fashion designs seen here. Monochromatic and cage like with a rich burst of colours seeping through.

Pach Clothing Working on a group project we had to come up with a niche brand concept. The brand name was “Pach clothing. As part of this project I took the role of the stylist and organised this photoshoot.

Previous page: research collages and initial designs. This page: technical flats, inspiration images. Opposite page: Lineup of the final six designs and fabric samples.

Urban Warrior The combined influence of Neoclassic Greek architecture, vintage 70’s Balenciaga and African culture led me to design an all red, six piece RTW Fall/Winter collection.

Knit Fever Working as a stylist, I assisted a commercial photography student with this teen-oriented fall trend editorial shoot.

Boys Don’t Cry I played with the boundaries between feminine and masculine while sketching this all-denim menswear collection. Samples of research collages, fabric samples and treatments, and designs.

My final produced outfit was a button-up shirt with a lowered yoke on the front and a fold pleat at the back. It was paired with dark grey stretch-denim trousers with faux red leather inside pockets and bleach details. This page: final garment, fabric samples and research collages. Opposite page: technical drawings, toile details, fabric samples

Victorian British equestrian habits served as my inspirational starting point to produce a women’s white poplin shirt. The same elements, I abstracted from my initial research, were then translated into a four piece winter collection.

This page: technical flat of white shirt, final garment, research sketch n’ imagery. Opposite page: lineup of final four designs, fabric n’ finishing samples.
