LIGHTING AND MATERIALS

Because in Ham Rong Park is surrounded with a lot of species and plants, I take the bamboo is the main material of making this traditional music instrument. I took ideas from bamboo architecture around the world and mixed these with the culture of ethnic tribal in Sapa .

For the lighting, I get inspirations from the Sapa Ethnic’s traditional music instruments. In additition, I combine the traditional pattern with the modern lighting. The materials that I use are bamboo and wood, which is used in the traditional music instrument. 265

DESIGN SKETCHING

MOVABLE PAVILLION ARCHITECH CONCEPT FOR ART EXHIBITION

PROJECT TYPE: Art Exhibition and DATE: March 2018 MENTOR: Kelner Krisztian PROJECT INFORMATION This pavillion is a concept design by using modular design - tend to have benefits for customers and sustainability as they allow for reuse and incremental upgrades as opposed to replacing an entire unit. In many cases, a culture of do-it-yourself customization will evolve around designs that are highly modular. I choose the location is in the Crescent Walk, which spans a couple of kilometres along Ton Duat Tien (Sun Yet Sen) Street, and is a particularly beautiful place to watch the sunset. The reason why to choose Ho Ban Nguyet Park is it’s popular location that all ages can come and enjoy not only the scenery but also good place to place this creative pavillion because it’s the modern era architechture in new Saigon’s ultra-modern showpiece. 17
