To Our Current TNP Season Ticket Holders, I am extremely proud of the amazing programs that The Naples Players has put together since COVID-19 began. While it wasn’t the summer we expected, I am thrilled that we were able to sew hundreds of masks for local hospitals; serve more than 1,300 students through virtual programs; and support more than 300 families and people with special needs in our Wellness Through the Arts programs. As we continue to look at the best ways to serve our community, it is clear that social distancing and continued concern about the spread of the virus are obvious parts of our immediate future. What is also clear is the significant financial impact these considerations would have on our upcoming season. As a result, we have shifted this year’s offerings – and while it isn’t the season we expected, I am once again proud of the innovative ways we will be working to bring you live performances this year. I want to be one of the first to welcome you to an outdoor season of endless entertainment we're calling Discover Culture in Collier.

1. Get out your tickets and a pen. This is the easiest part. If you have misplaced your tickets, please call the Box Office. If you can't find a pen, we can't help you with that one.

2. If you have tickets for An Ideal Husband and Calendar Girls that are dated 2021 - KEEP THEM. We hope to re-open the indoor theater facility with those previously re-scheduled productions. If your tickets ARE NOT dated for 2021 - please call the Box Office.

3. Grab your pen. Add ONE to each year. Subtract ONE from each day. Honestly, this is the easiest way to do it. Trust us. Example:

Based on a hilarious true story of a group of middle-aged girlfriends in Yorkshire, England who band together in a creative venture to raise money after Annie’s husband John suddenly passes away from cancer. The calendar takes the town by storm, raises money, eyebrows, and piques the press’ interest into an international sensation!

Oscar Wilde’s wickedly witty and touching comedy remains one of the most famous and popular in history. The story revolves around blackmail, political corruption and public and private honor in late 19th-century England, where “an ideal husband” must be above reproach in both spheres.

The Wedding Singer takes us back to a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room. Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer’s sparkling new score does for the ‘80s what Hairspray did for the ‘60s. Just say yes to the most romantic musical in twenty years.

In this 1960’s farce, self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.” He keeps “one up, one down, and one pending” until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris, and Bernard’s apartment, at the same time. This “don’t miss” comedy will have you in stitches.

This comedic romp is filled with unforgettable music and non-stop laughs. Nominated for 10 Tony Awards, the show follows Monty Navarro, the heir to a long-lost family fortune...if only he wasn’t 8th in line. The scene-stealing role of Monty stars one-actor that also plays all eight roles of the doomed relatives who meet their ends in creative and comedic conditions.

Mary Poppins flies before your eyes in this classic musical based on the much-loved children’s books by P. L. Travers and the 1964 Disney film of the same name. Julian Fellowes’ book blends the original stories with the acclaimed film to create a new and iconic stage adventure. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from this magical yet practical nanny.

MAR 30 - APR 24 2022 This powerful play takes us inside the story of a quiet bed and breakfast turned into a secret women’s shelter in the early 1970s, before Roe v. Wade, before the Violence Against Women Act, and before women had places to turn in times of distress. Smart and exciting, it will leave you on the edge of your seat and with a renewed appreciation of a woman’s rights.

The fifth week is reserved for the general public who do not have the early access and opportunities our Season Ticket Subscribers have. If the only time you can attend these shows is during the 5th week, please call the Box Office for details.
