THEO ALEXANDER (Rufus) is pretty excited to be here! His brother Jasper (Pyewacket/Bell, Book and Candle) always brags about being on stage with TNP, so he thought he’d check out if it was true about the free snacks. Hey, is that a real cake??!

ARIANNI

ANTONACCI (Ensemble) is excited to be a part of The Naples Players Academy production of Legally Blonde JR. She has always loved singing and recently discovered her love for musical theatre after she played Phineous Trout in Willy Wonka JR. When she’s not performing she enjoys singing in her church choir and being a part of NJHS with her friends. She would like to thank Dr. Becky Weese-Rumpf for giving her an opportunity to develop her skills, Pamela Jimenez for coaching her, and her family for always supporting her.

LEO BENANDER-McKAY (Warner Huntington III) is ecstatic to be in Legally Blonde JR.! He is a 13-year-old student at Seacrest Country Day School. He loves various sports including tennis, volleyball, soccer, and cross country. He also plays many instruments, and his favorite is the clarinet. Recent shows he’s performed in include School of Rock, Newsies JR., Into The Woods JR., and Beauty and The Beast JR. Leo would like to thank the wonderful cast, crew, and most importantly, his family for their love and support. Enjoy the show!

LUKE BROWNLEE (Emmett Forrest) is 13 years old and an 8th grader at Oakridge Middle School (OMS). Luke was most recently seen as Kurt Von Trapp in TNP’s adult cast of The Sound of Music. Other previous TNP Academy performances include Race/Newsies JR., Seussical The Musical JR., Matilda JR., and Frozen JR. When not performing, Luke is on the OMS Volleyball team and also plays football, basketball, pickleball, and golf. He is excited to perform in the new theater and hopes you enjoy the show!

MARGOT CASSINELLI (Pilar/Ensemble) is thrilled to be at The Naples Players. She currently attends North Naples Middle, where she is a proud member of the Yearbook Committee, Student Advisory Council, Drama Club, and the North Naples Middle School Choir. Previous credits include Madison/School of Rock, Violet Beauregarde/ Willy Wonka JR., and Cinderella’s Stepmother/Into the Woods JR. When not on stage, she enjoys reading, singing, baking, writing music, and spending time with friends. Margot would like to thank her directors, teachers, friends, and family for their continuous support. She hopes you enjoy the show!

CAROLINE COLEMAN (Serena/Ensemble) attends Gulfview Middle and is thrilled to be part of this cast! TNP has become a second home for her, and she is thankful for all of the love and support she receives from this theater. Some favorite recent roles and shows include Buttons/Newsies JR., Marcy/School of Rock, The Music Man, Matilda JR., and the upcoming production of A Christmas Story: The Musical. She sends a big thank you to the production staff, coaches, family, and friends who continue to support the Performing Arts. Enjoy the show!

KATHARINE CONDIT

(Winthrop/Ensemble) is 13 years old and loves to perform. You can also find her baking, coding games, and competing with her Odyssey of the Mind team. Recent roles for Katharine include Cheshire Cat/Alice in Wonderland JR. and performances in Matilda JR., The Little Mermaid JR., Seussical The Musical JR., Newsies JR., and James and the Giant Peach (CFABS). She’s excited to be here and hopes you enjoy the show!

RICHIE

DAVIES (Dewey/Kyle) is a 14-year-old 8th grade student at Seacrest Country Day School. He has been passionate about acting since the age of 5. His love for the stage blossomed when he took the lead role in James and the Giant Peach, and has been captivated by theatre ever since. In addition to acting, Richie enjoys gaming, playing soccer, and fully embracing the Florida lifestyle.

ELLA EASTMAN (Store Manager/Ensemble) joined the TNP family in the summer of 2023. Her love for theatre started when she took part in Godspell JR. at St. Elizabeth Seton. Since then, Ella has been involved in several TNPA productions including: Ensemble/Treble in Paradise, Angelo/La Comedia of Errors, Zaneeta/The Music Man and Ensemble/School of Rock. Ella also enjoys spending time with family, friends, and taking care of her three dogs, two parakeets, and one goldfish. She wants to thank her family and friends for their support on her theater journey.

SURI FINCH

(Whitney/Ensemble) is an 8th grader at Pine Ridge Middle who maintains a 4.0 GPA. Suri is thrilled to have found such a wonderful, welcoming theatre family at TNP. Past roles at TNP include Marta/The Sound of Music, Florinda/Granny/ Into the Woods JR. and the 2024 TNP Front & Center Gala. While off stage, Suri loves to hang out with friends, jet-ski, take piano lessons, and compete in debate. Suri would like to thank her family and friends, and especially The Naples Players for this amazing opportunity. Enjoy the show!

CATHERINE FULLER (Kate/Ensemble) is proud to be making her TNP debut in Legally Blonde JR. Her previous theatre credits include: Jane Banks/Mary Poppins (CSN); James and the Giant Peach, High School Musical JR., The Lion King, and Rapunzel’s Prince/Into the Woods (Nantucket Dreamland Theater). She also appeared in Macbeth at Union College. She is grateful to her family and friends for their support, and the entire cast and crew.

ALEXANDRIA GOENNER (Ensemble) loves acting and singing. Her recent TNP Academy performances include ensemble roles in Matilda JR. and Seussical The Musical JR., Kate/Dear Edwina JR., Pig Tails/Newsies JR. and Lefou/Beauty and Beast JR. Alexandria says TNP is her home away from home!

MAXIMILIANO “MAXI” JAMES (Callahan) is an eclectic 13-year-old 8th grader, actor, musician, dancer, and singer. Past performances include the starring lead bilingual role of Antipholus/Antifolo in La Comedia of Errors, Mr. Wormwood/ Matilda JR., and Monsieur D’Arque/Beauty and the Beast JR. Most recently, he rocked the stage as Theo/School of Rock, bringing infectious energy and charisma that lit up the performance.

ELLIE KAPISAK (Ensemble) is 11 years old and attends North Naples Middle. This is her first show with TNP after recently moving to Naples from Charleston, South Carolina where she fell in love with theatre. Notable previous roles include Ms. Trunchbull/Matilda JR. and Cruella de Vil/101 Dalmatians. Ellie is so excited to be in Legally Blonde JR. When not performing, Ellie loves to hang out with her friends and family and sing!

SOFIA LUGO (Brooke Wyndham) is thrilled to play Brooke Wyndham alongside this talented cast and crew. Previous TNP credits include Shonelle/School of Rock and Lucinda/Into The Woods JR. Off stage, Sofia enjoys dancing with Hit The Floor Studios, tennis, piano, waterskiing, and socializing with friends. She would like to thank her family, her amazing singing and dance teachers, and the entire team at TNP for making this all possible. Sofia hopes you enjoy this fabulously fun show!

MADISON MANCE (Elle Woods) moved from Oshawa, Canada to Florida in February 2021. She is a 7th grade student at The Village School. She studies dance at Hit The Floor Dance Studio and voice with Kellie Cullinan. Recent roles include Patty/School of Rock, Young Bonnie/Bonnie And Clyde, Dance Captain/Les Filles/Ensemble/Beauty And The Beast JR., Rapunzel/Into The Woods JR., Marta/The Sound Of Music and Nancy/Newsies JR. Madison is grateful to Miss Molly, Miss Adriana, and Mr. Petey for this bucket list role, and for getting to work with such an amazing cast! Delta Nu Nu Nu!

ADRIANA MARINOV

(Ensemble) is excited about her first show with TNP! Adriana is a 6th grader who has a passion for acting, singing, gymnastics, and reading. She enjoys playing piano, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and almost any outdoor activity. Her adventure this fall, along with being in this show, is fencing. She has been in the drama club at Mason Classical Academy for the last two years, and has also attended the Hashtag Sharps school of music. Adriana is beyond thankful to her family and friends for their endless love and support and is very grateful for the amazing teachers at TNP, drama club, and the music school. Adriana hopes you enjoy the show!

SCARLETT MULLEN (Ensemble) is a bright and funny 6th grader at North Naples Middle and is so excited to be making her debut on The Naples Players stage! Her most recent productions with Children For The Arts include The Genie/Aladdin, and Mowgli/The Jungle Book. She moved to Naples two years ago from Boston, where she also enjoyed performing with Drama Kids International. When not on stage, she enjoys taekwondo, honor chorus, getting straight A’s in her advanced classes, going to camp in the summer, and laughing with her sister and friends.

OLLIE POSEY (Enid Hoopes) is a vibrant and talented actor and singer destined for the stage. His creativity and infectious enthusiasm have led him to explore a variety of artistic pursuits, including drums, drawing, singing, dancing, gymnastics, and ukulele. Next on the list is guitar! This is balanced with his love of animals and scientific pursuits, where he envisions a future as a herpetologist. Ollie’s comedic timing and love of the limelight have led him to this moment, where he is excited to expand his musical theatre repertoire, working with an ensemble of talented actors, staff, and crew. Enjoy the show!

HERMIONE PRICE

(Bruiser Woods) knew this was the role of a lifetime when she got a call from her agent, Jen. Ever since she saw those 90’s Taco Bell commercials starring her great-great-great-great uncle twice removed, the acting flea bit her. This chance at stardom is very exciting and she looks forward to a nap after the show.

EMERSON ROSCHEK (Margot/Ensemble) is thrilled to star in her fifth production at TNP. She has thoroughly enjoyed past roles in Seussical The Musical JR., Beauty and the Beast JR. and Newsies JR. She is in 7th grade at Seacrest. She is so lucky to be a part of Legally Blonde JR.! She’d like to give a special shout out to her voice teacher Ms. Angelina for all of her help. She thanks her friends and family for all supporting her and hopes you all enjoy the show!

GIA SANCHEZ (Vivienne Kensington) is a 7th grader at Oakridge Middle. Gia has enjoyed many productions at TNP since she was 5 years old. Some of her most recent roles include Sophie & Ensemble/School of Rock, Luciana/La Comedia of Errors, Treble in Paradise singing group, Enchantress/Ensemble/Beauty and the Beast JR., and Jojo/ Newsies JR. When Gia is not on stage, she enjoys doing art, dancing, singing, and spending time with her friends. She thanks her family and friends for their support. Enjoy the show!

OLIVIA SILVERIO (Paulette) is excited to be a part of Legally Blonde JR. Being on stage and performing is not only Olivia’s passion, but where she feels at home. She is becoming a seasoned performer with prior roles in Beauty & the Beast JR., Haunted High, Nemo, Newsies JR. and School of Rock. Each show has been an amazing learning experience and brought her so many happy memories along the way. Olivia wants to thank her family and friends for always loving and supporting her.

RAINE VANASSE (Chutney/Ensemble) has previously been in school musicals and plays, and is excited to be in her first TNP production.

CREATIVE TEAM BIOS

NELL BENJAMIN (Lyricist) co-wrote the score to Legally Blonde, the Musical with composer Laurence O’Keefe, which received Tony Award nominations, Drama Desk nominations, and the Olivier and Helpmann Awards for Best Musical. Nell wrote the lyrics to Mean Girls, which received multiple Tony Award nominations, including for Best Original Score and Best Musical. Nell’s play, The Explorers Club, won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Play, the Edgerton Foundation New American Plays Award, and an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation grant. Nell has written book and/or lyrics for Pirates! (or Gilbert and Sullivan plunder’d), Sarah, Plain and Tall, Cam Jansen (Drama Desk-nominated), I Want My Hat Back, How I Became A Pirate, The Mice, Life of the Party and Because of Winn Dixie. Upcoming musicals are: Huzzah!, Life of the Party, Dave. Television writing includes Unhappily Ever After, Animal Planet’s Whoa! Sunday with Mo Rocca, Electric Company, Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Julie’s Greenroom. Benjamin is the recipient of the Kleban Foundation Award and a Jonathan Larson Grant.

PIETRO BUZZELLI (Music Director) is a versatile music director and performer. He has starred in leading roles in several award-winning films and theater productions, showcasing his impressive range and talent. Many additional accolades come from his work behind the scenes, where he has earned awards for his original music and sound design in numerous film productions. A skilled musician with a deep understanding of vocal performance, Pietro has studied music his entire life and has been a vocal coach. He specializes in post-production and audio, bringing a unique perspective to his work as a music director. With his comprehensive skill set and extensive experience, Pietro is well-equipped to lead as a music director, bringing a high level of expertise and passion to our productions.

MARIAH CRUTCHFIELD (Lighting Designer) is excited to be making their design debut for The Naples Players’ production of Legally Blonde JR. Mariah earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre at Cottey College with a focus in Lighting Design and Playwriting. This will be their first show in a professional setting, they’ve enjoyed taking on the challenges that designing brings.

HEATHER HACH (Author) received 2007 Tony and Drama Desk nominations for her work on Legally Blonde. Graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, School of Journalism. Worked at The New York Times Denver Bureau as a research assistant and Sports and Fitness Publishing in Boulder, Colorado, as a magazine editor. Member of Denver’s Comedy Sports improv comedy troupe. Worked on the TV shows Caroline in the City and Dilbert. Won Walt Disney Screenwriting Fellowship in 1999. Film credits include Disney’s Freaky Friday and What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Also wrote the young adult novel Freaky Monday with Mary Rodgers. Much love to friends and family, especially Jason, Harper and Drake.

AMY HUGHES (Prop Designer) is excited to be propping such an amazing production. Amy is mostly known for her credits on stage in shows such as Marian/ The Music Man and Mona/Chicago. She is so excited to step into the role of a lifetime as the properties director for The Naples Players and looks forward to an amazingly creative future.

CHRISTIAN JIMENEZ (Stage Manager) “It all started with a flip.” Christian is currently a senior at Gulf Coast High. Past productions for his school include Assistant Stage Manager for The Little Mermaid JR, All Shook Up, and Chicago and Technical Stage Manager for Shrek the Musical and Hairspray. The recent production of 42nd Street Teen was his first production with TNP. He is super grateful to be a part of the Student Leadership Council, and can’t wait to see what new challenges will come at TNP!

MARY ANNE McKERROW (Costume Designer) has been costuming and teaching the young actors of the Academy at TNP since 2005. As a performer for TNP, she was last seen in the Extravaganza to mark the opening of the newly renovated theater. Favorite TNP roles include Donna/Mamma Mia!, Momma Rose/Gypsy, Mame/Mame, and Madame Thenardier/Les Misérables. Last year she debuted at The Laboratory Theater in Ft. Myers as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd.

LAURENCE O’KEEFE (Composer) received 2007 Tony and Drama Desk nominations for his work on Legally Blonde. Larry thanks all Blonde producers and creative team. He won the Ed Kleban Award, the ASCAP Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award and a Jonathan Larson award for his music and lyrics. Off-Broadway credits: Bat Boy: The Musical (Lucille Lortel, Richard Rodgers, Outer Critics’ Circle awards), which has received 100+ productions worldwide; music for Sarah, Plain and Tall, lyrics by Nell Benjamin (touring with TheatreWorksUSA). Co-author with Nell Benjamin of Cam Jansen (Drama Desk nomination) and The Mice. Larry is a product of his education with the Harvard Krokodiloes, the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the Harvard Lampoon and the Actors’ Gang, but especially the incomparable Nell Benjamin.

ADRIANA PARODI (Choreographer) is a current student at FGCU and started dancing and doing theatre her freshman year of high school. She is so thrilled to be choreographing her first show here at The Naples Players. Her favorite roles/credits include Glamazon/Catch Me If You Can, Margot/Legally Blonde, Madam/The Hunchback Of Notre Dame Teen, and Ensemble/42nd Street. She has also worked as a choreographer in productions of Footloose, Newsies, and Fame. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support and she hopes you enjoy the show!

MICHAEL SANTOS (Scenic Designer) has been working in The Naples Players’ Scene Shop for over 20 years now. He is originally from Upstate New York, where he received his BFA in Visual Communications. Favorite scenic designs include Guys and Dolls, The Wedding Singer, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame for TNP; and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Matilda JR, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr for TNP’s Academy of Dramatic Arts. A big thank you to the volunteers for doing what they do best! And to his wife, Judith, for always being everything :-)

MOLLY SPIROFF (Director) is so excited to return to TNP for her directorial debut! **Snaps!!** She’s spent several years away from her “home away from home” and is beyond thrilled to be back. Molly is a lifelong performer, and her first ever musical was a production of Annie right here at The Naples Players in 2010! She attended Western Michigan University for Theatre Performance, and looks forward to a future filled with music and art in all its forms. Thank you with all of her heart to Dawn and Charlie for over a decade of the best education a young artist could hope for, and for the inspiration and support to follow her dreams. And finally, much love to her fur babies and family, who fill her life with so much love and laughter. Break a leg, everyone! xoxo

BRADLEY VAN HOUTEN (Sound Designer) holds a BFA in Theatre: Design & Technical Production and Theatre: Stage Management from Western Michigan University. Originally hailing from Michigan, he has been an integral part of the team since 2013. Throughout his tenure, Brad has contributed his expertise to numerous productions, witnessing TNP’s remarkable growth over the years. Outside of the theater, Brad takes to the skies as a pilot, embarking on adventures to explore new areas of Florida. Alternatively, you might spot him strolling with his furry companion Malone, a delightful Cocker Spaniel mix who is well aware of just how adorable he is.

Founded in 1952 by composer Frank Loesser and orchestrator Don Walker, MTI is a driving force in advancing musical theatre as a vibrant and engaging art form. MTI works directly with the composers, lyricists and book writers of these musicals to provide official scripts, musical materials and dynamic theatrical resources to over 100,000 professional, community and school theatres in the US and in over 150 countries worldwide.

MTI is particularly dedicated to educational theatre, and has created special collections to meet the needs of various types of performers and audiences. MTI’s Broadway Junior® shows are 30- and 60-minute musicals for performance by elementary and middle school-aged performers, while MTI’s School Editions are musicals annotated for performance by high school students.

MTI maintains its global headquarters in New York City with additional offices in London (MTI Europe) and Melbourne (MTI Australasia).
