aving called Naples “home” since 2004, Tanya and Denny Glass have taken an active role in preserving and honoring the culture of Naples. Having served as the Board Chair of the Naples Historical Society, as well as The Naples Zoo and The Naples Players, Tanya and Denny have sustained the integrity of prominent cultural organizations while also investing in programs and facilities for future generations. Namesakes of the “Tanya and Denny Glass Animal Hospital” at The Naples Zoo, and now the driving force behind “The Tanya and Denny Glass Educational Theater,” soon to be constructed in the renovated facility at The Naples Players Sugden Theater, Tanya and Denny believe the intentions of the past must be honored in the visions for the future.
During his tenure as Chairman of The Naples Players, Denny was instrumental in the strategic redesign of our beloved home on Fifth Avenue South. He led the creative approach of maintaining the iconic Fifth Avenue façade of The Sugden Community Theater, and challenged designers to reimagine the overlooked Fourth Avenue entrance. Denny’s approach represents a nod to tradition while looking to the future. This design choice will ultimately lead to a facility that is both beautiful, functional, and welcoming to all who enter, all while meeting the cultural and aesthetic standards that Naples residents have come to expect. Denny’s leadership and vision preserves the theater’s charm, with de-

finitive improvements to the theater’s interiors, acoustics, and programmatic initiatives – and, of course, the addition of “The Tanya and Denny Glass Educational Theater.” This meaningful gift reflects a deep commitment to support children’s programs such as KidzAct, which will benefit directly from the new Educational Theater. But Tanya and Denny’s cultural influence in Naples is only part of the story... A veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the retired founder and owner of Meridian Printing, a commercial art printing company based in Rhode Island, Denny is the past Chairman of Milton Holdings, a Dublin, Ireland holding company, running their U.S. Division. He is past President of the Boards of Rocky Hill School, East Greenwich Public Library, Wannamoisett Country Club, Naples National Golf Club and Carnegie Abbey Golf Club. Denny is Chairman and Founder of the Ron Baliciki Scholarship Foundation, Chairman of the Terra Cotta Invitational Golf Tournament, and serves as Vice Chair of the Rhode Island Independence Trail Foundation. Following his successful term as Chairman of the Board of The Naples Players, Denny re-
mains on our board, and we are grateful for his continued guidance and leadership. Most recently, Denny was named one of Gulfshore Life Magazine’s “Philanthropists of the Year” – a well-earned honor for both Tanya and Denny. The Naples Players we know and enjoy today exists because of the generosity and vision of our leaders and supporters.
Tanya and Denny are a vital part of our story as an organization, and we hope that current and future generations will be inspired by the transformative power of their dedication.

Because TNP Fund gifts are absolutely essential, we will reach out to our supporters throughout the year, grateful that their dedication matches ours. Please give today. We are ready to put your gift into action!
Patty and Jay Baker congratulate TNP student Max Bogert after his performance at the 2019 Front & Center Gala.
W
e support TNP because of its involvement with, and in, the community. Local performers—everyday people—are encouraged to participate in all facets of the theatre—performing, backstage, classes. The spaces are comfortable and inviting. The shows are interesting and varied, and the work seems to get better and better! The help the staff provided during the height of the pandemic to hospitals and locals was amazing and endeared them to so many in our community.
