Notre Da me welcomed juniors’ pa rents to ca mpus last weekend, t his time not to cheer for Irish footba ll, but to attend Junior Pa rents Weekend ( JPW ). A committee of 13 juniors, led by JPW cha irperson Sha nnon Hagedorn, pla nned t he event, which a imed to ex pose pa rents to t he strong sense of tradition at Notre Da me. “My goa l for t his yea r’s JPW was to ma ke it a rea lly specia l a nd elega nt weekend,” Hagedorn sa id. “In selecting t he progra m pictures, center pieces a nd decorations, I tried to represent t he tradition a nd mag ic of Notre Da me.” Even t hough severe storms in t he Nort heast prevented some pa rents f rom see JPW PAGE 3
