EDITORIAL The Vip Vallarta se prepara para celebrar su XV aniversario este 2018. Nuestra empresa empezó con un objetivo muy definido: “Conectar a la gente de Vallarta y difundir los acontecimientos más importantes de nuestra comunidad en el ámbito empresarial, turístico y social”. Con el correr del tiempo y su confianza, nuestro sueño se hizo realidad. Gracias por hacernos partícipes de los momentos más importantes de su vida; juntos hemos celebrado cumpleaños, bodas, aperturas, remodelaciones, aniversarios, eventos artísticos, premiaciones y homenajes sin fin… Para celebrar estos primeros XV años hemos preparado un calendario de eventos que iremos desarrollando a lo largo del año: conferencias con diversas temáticas totalmente gratuitas y abiertas al público en general, como es costumbre en nuestra empresa. Y es que hoy podemos afirmar, con orgullo, que no solo somos el soporte impreso de sociales de mayor impacto, sino que en los medios digitales somos una empresa líder, sólida y a la vanguardia, que ofrece día a día la mejor opción de promoción y marketing a nuestros socios comerciales. Hoy vemos que hemos crecido profesionalmente, sentando un precedente que muchos han de imitar. 3 NUEVOS CONCEPTOS FIESTA AMERICANa El Hotel Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta celebró la inauguración de la apertura de 3 nuevos conceptos: La Veranda Flavour Boutique, Chula Vista Beachfront Restaurant y SONNE Beach Club de playa sólo para adultos. Fueron Javier Cordero, Karina Cordero, Beatriz Narro de Cordero, Enrique Calderón, Jorge Villanueva y Ludwig Estrada, quienes cortaron el listón inaugural durante el cóctel inicial, después el Hotel abrió las puertas del restaurante celebrando con una agradable cena y música en vivo. Más tarde los invitados pasaron al SONNE Beach Club en la planta alta para disfrutar de un increíble coctel y show con temática “El fantasma de la Opera”. Sin duda el hotel, nos recordó porque sigue siendo uno de los Hoteles más atractivos en Bahía de Banderas.

Hotel Fiesta americana Puerto Vallarta celebrated the inauguration of the opening of 3 new concepts: La Veranda Flavour Boutique, Chula Vista Beachfront Restaurant and SONNE beach Club for adults only. Javier Cordero, Karina Cordero, Beatriz Narro de Cordero, Enrique Calderón Jorge Villanueva and Ludwig Estrada, cut the ribbon during the initial cocktail, then the Hotel opened the restaurant doors, celebrating with a nice dinner and live music. Later the guests went to the SONNE Beach Club on the upper floor to enjoy an incredible cocktail and a show with the thematic “The Phantom of the Opera”. Definitely the hotel, reminded us why it is still, one of the most attractive in the Banderas Bay.

Abrió sus puertas al público con asistencia de familiares y amigos de los socios, el empresario Natividad Pinto y el L.A. Omar Dávila. El concepto de churrasquería agradó mucho a los asistentes, ya que en Bahía de Banderas solo existe 1 lugar para disfrutar de un buen corte y los asistentes disfrutaron de música en vivo (rock, jazz y mariachi). La Campiña Sports Bar ofrece 14 tipos diferentes de cortes de carnes, barra de ensaladas, aguachile de camarón, exquisitos vinos de nuestra cava, y la maravillosa vista al Estero. Nuestro objetivo es satisfacer completamente al cliente con nuestra calidad inigualable en comida y bebidas así como un excelente servicio. Una churrasquería es conocida también como carnes a la espada, un concepto brasileño, con preparación de carnes, influenciada por la actividad pecuaria de las dos pampas (la planicie gaucha: región meridional de Rio Grande do Sul, Uruguay y parte de Argentina). Prueba la típica picanha, el pollo asado con salsa de mostaza, rib eye, sirloin con ajo, filete de res en brocheta con tocino, pierna de cordero, chorizo (linguiça) o salchichas, lomo de cerdo asado, con croquetas de arroz, champiñones al ajillo, acompañado de una cerveza o un buen vino tinto. UNA FIESTA CON CAUSA Gran noche en Hotel Boutique Hacienda San Ángel donde asistieron amigos y miembros de la Sociedad Protectora y Compasiva por los Animales de Puerto Vallarta (SPCA), con el fin de recaudar fondos a favor de dicho santuario animal. Se disfrutó de una espectacular vista desde el restaurante La Cappella, con un maravilloso coctel al atardecer, seguido de una agradable cena y una divertida subasta donde estuvieron participando gente maravillosa. Al final de la noche se realizó una presentación en la que se mostraron los avances del santuario animal conmoviendo los corazones de los miembros quienes mostraron gran entusiasmo y satisfacción.

A party with a cause Great night at Hacienda San Ángel Boutique Hotel where friends and members of the protective and caring Society for the Animals of Puerto Vallarta (SPCA) attended, in order to raise funds in favor of this animal sanctuary. We enjoyed a spectacular view from the La Cappella restaurant, with a wonderful evening cocktail, followed by a nice dinner and a fun auction where wonderful people were participating. At the end of the night a presentation was made showing the progress of the animal sanctuary by moving the hearts of the members who showed great enthusiasm and satisfaction.

HOMENAJE A CRISTINA CASTILLO ÁLVAREZ. Gran homenaje a Cristina Castillo Álvarez de parte de la comunidad turística de Puerto Vallarta, en el Centro de Convenciones de Casa Velas, donde familiares, amigos y profesionales de la industria se reunieron para reconocer la labor de esta extraordinaria mujer. Representantes de la Asociación de Hoteles y Moteles, la Oficina de Convenciones y Visitantes, ADEPROTUR, el Ayuntamiento de Puerto Vallarta, la Dirección de Turismo de Jalisco, el Fideicomiso de Turismo y CANACO entregaron reconocimientos a Cristina Castillo por sus 29 años de labor en el ámbito turístico. Durante el homenaje se contó con un elenco artístico que a través del baile folclórico y la música agasajaron a Cristina Castillo, quien en todo momento lució emocionada y agradeció con todo sentimiento a los asistentes por su presencia.

The tourist community of Puerto Vallarta , gave a great tribute to Cristina Castillo Álvarez, at the Casa Velas Convention Center, where family, friends and industry professionals gathered to recognize the work of this extraordinary woman. Representatives of the of Hotels and Motels Association, the Conventions Center, ADEPROTUR, the city of Puerto Vallarta, the Tourism Office of Jalisco, the Tourism Trust and the Chamber of Commerce, gave recognition to Cristina Castillo for her 29 years of work in the tourism field. During the homage different artists pleased Cristina Castillo through folkloric dance and music, who at all times looked thrilled, grateful and thanked all the attendees for their presence, from the bottom of her heart.

Durante una cena de gala en el Hotel Sheraton Resorts, se llevó a cabo el cambio de mesa directiva del Club SKAL Internacional Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit en el Restaurante Las Gaviotas, donde además de la entrega de reconocimientos se disfrutó de un agradable coctel y una elegante cena donde todos los integrantes de este grupo de dinámicos profesionales del turismo estuvieron acompañados de sus distinguidas esposas. Durante la entrega de reconocimientos Enrique Flores hizo entrega de la estafeta al nuevo presidente Robert Rojas, colocándole el simbólico collar de plata. Además de reconocer a los miembros más destacados del año, así como a los nuevos integrantes de la mesa directiva, Robert Rojas ya como presidente realizó el simbólico brindis Skal deseándoles a todos los Skalegas del mundo: Salud, amistad, larga vida, y felicidad.

During a gala dinner at the Sheraton Resorts Hotel, the board change of the SKAL Internacional Club Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit was carried out, in the restaurant Las Gaviotas, where in addition to the delivery of awards they all enjoyed a pleasant cocktail and an elegant dinner where all the members of this group of dynamic tourism professionals, were accompanied by their distinguished wives. Luis Reyes Brambila presenta su libro Bahía de Banderas. Una Historia de Esplendor es el libro que el Sr. Luis Reyes Brambila presentó a la comunidad en el Hotel Marival, de Nuevo Vallarta. En él hace una copiosa recopilación de notas y gráficas aparecidas en los periódicos Vallarta Opina, Nayarit Opina y Riviera Nayarit Opina, con lo que nos obsequia con una historia muy vívida de la manera en que se dio el nacimiento del municipio 20 de Nayarit y la razón por la que se inició el movimiento independentista del municipio de Compostela. Esta misma noche, el Sr. Reyes Brambila otorgó el reconocimiento Presea a Celso H. Delgado, por su gran labor y trayectoria periodística en los connotados medios. “Honor a quien honor merece”.

Alexander Daoud Originario de Jordania, de Amán, Alexander Daoud lleva siete años radicando en Puerto Vallarta, donde es dueño del Salón “Alexander A Salón Beauty Spa”, ubicado en Plaza Marina. Estudió en Europa, Alemania e Italia. Ha trabajado en Estados Unidos con Chi Company en Houston Texas. También ha trabajado con el equipo de Miss Universo y Miss Estados Unidos. Aquí en Puerto Vallarta con Miss Vallarta y Teen Vallarta, como juez. También ha trabajado en eventos con Ramón Díaz, Fashion Weekend y pasarelas. Él es un artista: “el estilista ve su trabajo como carrera estética, en cambio los artistas tenemos visión de la imagen”. Su nombre artístico es The Magic Man, porque hace cambios radicales de imagen: color, luces y cortes. Realiza cortes para lucir 15 años más joven. Trabaja mirando el tono de cara, el tono de los ojos, sabiendo que cada cliente es distinto. Tiene 20 años de experiencia como estilista y trabaja todos los servicios como maquillaje y peinados profesional para bodas y XV años, Queratina y Brazilian blowout. Alexander Daoud es el único especialista en depilación de ceja y bozo con técnica de hilo sin manchar la piel, con 28 años de experiencia en ésta técnica, mejor que la cera. Además realiza muchos trabajos de colores rubios. El utiliza su propia técnica especial sin aluminio, diferente de la que usualmente se estila en México, ya que en este país se trabajan primero las luces y después el color, y él lo hace a la inversa. Aborda ambos colores juntos y de esta manera ahorra tiempo y maltrata menos el cabello, dejándolo con brillo, color, y buena calidad. Maneja productos de excelente calidad como la marca Goldwell de Alemania, ellos tienen tinte sin amoniaco. Sus clientas consideran a Alex Daoud como el mejor estilista en México por lograr esos excelentes trabajos de rubios. Tiene clientes de Canadá y Estados Unidos como New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Toronto y Montreal, quienes viajan a Vallarta, solo para recibir sus servicios. Su labor altruista comenzó cuando trabajaba en Estados Unidos, viajó a Cancún a una conferencia para 5.000 estilistas, ahí un compañero lo invitó de vacaciones a Chihuahua y el destino le trajo una invitación de parte de una iglesia cristiana americana en Vallarta para un evento de Hair show. Y fue entonces que al pisar nuestra ciudad se enamoró de Vallarta. Estuvo aquí por una semana, y durante ese tiempo, conoció la casa hogar y el basurero donde hizo 20 cortes de cabello para niños. Realizó también trabajos de apoyo en ésta iglesia por siete meses, donde hizo 400 cortes gratis en la asociación Casa Hogar y el basurero. “Personalidades Altruistas 2017” “Altruistic personalities 2017” Por / By : Silvia Ahuactzin Sánchez En ocasiones la rutina nos hace pensar que la vida transcurre de una forma normal e igual para todos, llegamos a creer que la gente tiene lo necesario y algo más para vivir, o que se encuentran en las condiciones adecuadas para trabajar y salir adelante. Pero no es así, en el mundo en general, en nuestro país, estado y en nuestra ciudad, hay alrededor de nosotros diferentes sectores de población con necesidades de todo tipo. Existen problemas sociales desde niños y adultos con diversas discapacidades físicas y mentales, abandono de niños y adultos mayores, colonias vulnerables con falta de mejoramiento, integración social y familiar y respeto al medio ambiente; así también la problemática del abandono de mascotas (perros y gatos) en la calle, falta de espacios y apoyo a la cultura, dificultades de salud pública, entre otros. En Puerto Vallarta hay diversas asociaciones civiles que cada una en su rubro apoya a la comunidad en general, pero aun así, falta mucho por hacer. Y qué mejor que nosotros como parte de esta sociedad nos involucremos y apoyemos para que exista mejor calidad de vida en nuestra comunidad. Tu revista The V.I.P. Vallarta te presenta en esta ocasión, a un grupo de personalidades de Vallarta, que de diferentes formas, desde tiempo atrás y en el pasado año 2017, han estado apoyando de manera incondicional diversas causas que representan una necesidad en parte de nuestra comunidad, sectores de población que muchas veces son abandonados a su suerte y nadie voltea a verlos ni mucho menos a ayudarlos. Tú también puedes apoyar a que muchas personas salgan adelante; no es necesario que ocurra un siniestro como los pasados sismos que hubo en nuestro país para solidarizarnos como sociedad. México es conocido en otras naciones como un país solidario, como una nación que sale adelante cuando como pueblo nos unimos. Entonces, ¿para qué esperar a que ocurra una situación catastrófica para apoyar? Aquí te presentamos algunas personalidades altruistas destacadas del 2017 con las cuales tú puedes poner tu granito de arena de diversas formas para que continúen cumpliendo su objetivo, tu ayuda puede ser importante y mucho más de lo que te imaginas. Te invitamos a que te unas y participes en la causa que más te agrade, a que no seas solo un espectador, no necesitas una razón para ayudar a los demás, se un miembro participativo. Rank Continuando con el legado de su esposo el artista Peter Gray, la señora Buri Gray desde el año 2009 funge como Directora Honoraria del Museo “Peter Gray” instalado dentro del Centro Universitario de la Costa, recinto que cuenta con gran cantidad de obras de arte de los más reconocidos artistas de la ciudad y de otras partes del mundo. La señora Gray quien se siente muy orgullosa de todo lo que llevó a cabo su esposo, continúa contribuyendo con más obras a este museo que tiene como uno de sus objetivos que los artistas den a conocer sus obras a la comunidad. Buri Gray al igual que Peter Gray, tiene el deseo de sensibilizar a la juventud a través del arte, que la comunidad tenga un lugar para admirar obras de calidad, lo cual además forma parte de un atractivo del Centro Universitario de la Costa y un encuentro para los admiradores del arte. Pero el objetivo principal de este museo fue otorgar a los jóvenes un espacio para su espíritu, incrementar valores artísticos y humanos como parte de su formación universitaria, objetivo que sin duda se ha logrado y que con la suma de apoyos y esfuerzos, podrá este museo continuar como un recinto cultural. Peter Gray en su momento inició este proyecto con la donación de una valiosa colección de sus obras, además de contar con el apoyo de sus amigos quienes también donaron parte de su arte para que fueran exhibidas en este museo que lleva su nombre. Peter Gray falleció en el año 2008, pero su imagen y recuerdo aún vive a través de sus obras, acciones y al seguimiento de su esposa Buri Gray a sus proyectos. Fue artista, intelectual, filántropo y buen amigo, organizaciones y personas se beneficiaron gracias a su apoyo.

Continuing with the legacy of her husband, philanthropist and writer Peter Gray, Mrs. Buri Gray since 2009 serves as honorary director of the “Peter Gray museum” installed in the University center of the coast, (CUC), enclosure that has a lot of Works of art by the most renowned artists of the city and other parts of the world. Mrs. Gray, who is very proud of everything that her husband carried out, continues to contribute with more works of art to this museum that has, as one of its objectives, to present to the community the works of these artists. Peter Gray started this project with the donation of a valuable art collection of his, in addition to having the support of his friends who also donated part of their art to be exhibited in this museum that bears his name. Peter Gray left us in the year 2008, but his image and memory still lives through his works, actions and the follow-up of his wife Buri Gray to his projects. He was an artist, an intellectual, a philanthropist and a good friend, organizations and people benefited thanks to his support.

Es de interés lograr convenios y redes con organismos que puedan brindar apoyo de distintas formas a las asociaciones que integran la RED, así como facilitar capacitación y entrenamiento a los miembros de las organizaciones civiles de acuerdo a sus responsabilidades y tareas, como una forma de fortalecer la estructura institucional y el servicio. Always willing to help others, so is Martha Dau, current legal representative and President of the Council of the network of altruistic associations of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas. Young professional given to her family business, but also with a great love to Puerto Vallarta because she is convinced that with altruistic support we can help many people. Part of Martha Dau’s vocation is to help others, so she has generated various non-profit events with the intention of helping. As well as her family, she has been involved in supporting the library Los Mangos A.C., in addition to supporting causes to which she is fully committed such as: culture, animal care and sport. Currently Martha Dau is president of the Council of the network of altruistic associations of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas, her job is to assist and help the representatives of the different associations to achieve their objectives. Rank Lo que inició otorgando refugio a algunos gatos sin hogar en una zona de Puerto Vallarta, ahora Janina Leia Erban con apoyo de su señora madre y una vecina, han extendido esa ayuda a aproximadamente 280 gatos en el refugio “Paraíso Felino” que se fundó hace 10 años, ubicado en San Juan de Abajo, Nayarit. Como en la mayoría de los niños, Janina tiene el gusto por los gatos desde su niñez, solo que ahora su cariño y amor los comparte con todos sus felinos que actualmente tiene de resguardo, todo ello, motivada por la sobrepoblación de animales que existen en las calles y principalmente del mal trato que sufren por algunas personas. En “Paraíso Felino”, Janina alimenta y cuida diariamente a cada uno de los gatos, una actividad que si bien es de su agrado, le satisface y lo hace con mucho amor, también es muy complicada por todo lo que implica mantener a 280 animalitos, desde alimentarlos, darles medicamento y llevarlos al veterinario cuando se enferman, sin faltar la limpieza que debe existir en el lugar. Pero su misión y visión de otorgar un mejor trato a los animales continúa, así como también el objetivo de reducir la población de perros y gatos promoviendo la esterilización y despertando la conciencia en materia ecológica. Además tiene también como objetivo, educar a la comunidad local sobre el cuidado de sus mascotas y el medio ambiente. Otra de las metas es mejorar el refugio en cuanto a la infraestructura, asignando un área para clases de cuidados de mascotas e incrementar eventos para adopción y recaudación de fondos. Muy humana labor la de Janina Leia Erban a favor de los felinos, pero para que esto continúe, es necesario mayores recursos y el apoyo de más personas, así que te invitamos a que participes.

Un proyecto que parecía inalcanzable, pero gracias al apoyo de muchas personas e instituciones, y principalmente por la perseverancia de su creadora, fundadora y presidenta de esta asociación civil: Yolanda Sánchez, ahora es toda una realidad. “Pasitos de Luz” es para su fundadora su misión y proyecto de vida, por lo cual desea dejar bien cimentada y estructurada esta asociación. “Mamás Unidas por la Rehabilitación de sus hijos” ha logrado apoyar a cientos de pequeños con problemas de discapacidad de Puerto Vallarta y la región, sin olvidar a esas madres de familia que tienen que salir adelante en su hogar pese a las adversidades. La atención en el castillo es integral y se le otorga a 120 niños a la semana, el objetivo de Pasitos de Luz en convertirse en el centro de rehabilitación más completo de Puerto Vallarta y Bahía de Banderas con un servicio gratuito para que los padres no dejen de otorgar las terapias y atención a sus hijos por falta de recursos económicos El servicio se basa en cuidar la nutrición de los niños y con ello poder lograr los objetivos físicos y mentales. La alimentación es a base de verduras y frutas, así como alimentos digeribles. Se otorga terapia profesional en Rehabilitación Física, Terapias de Lenguaje bajo un programa especial, Educación Especial, Hidroterapia, Equino-terapia, Temazcal, Deportes, Actividades Recreativas, Canto y Baile, Arte y Manualidades y niños que no pueden caminar cuentan con cuidados profesionales de guardería. A dream come true for Yolanda Sánchez Santiago is the castle “Casa Connor”, the main headquarters of her civil Association: Moms United for the rehabilitation of their children, better known as “Pasitos de Luz” (light steps). A project that seemed unattainable, but thanks to the support of many people and institutions, and mainly by the perseverance of the creator, founder and president of this civil association: Yolanda Sanchez, it is now a reality. “Pasitos de Luz” is for its founder, her mission and Life project, consequently she wants to leave a well-founded and structured association. “Moms United for the rehabilitation of their children” has managed to support hundreds of children with disabilities in Puerto Vallarta and the region, without forgetting those mothers who have to go ahead in their home despite adversity. The attention in the castle is integral and is given to 120 children a week, the goal of Pasitos de Luz is to become the most complete rehabilitation center in Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay with a free service, thus helping parents not to stop giving the therapies and attention to their children for the lack of financial resources. The service is based on caring for children’s nutrition and thus achieving physical and mental goals. Food is based on vegetables and fruits, as well as digestible foods. It provides professional therapy in physical rehabilitation, language therapies under a special program, special education, hydrotherapy, equine therapy, Temazcal, sports, recreational activities, singing and dancing, arts and crafts and children who cannot walk are provided with professional nursery care. All this in a warm, pleasant atmosphere, beautiful facilities and a magnificent attention.
Rank Desde su llegada a radicar a Puerto Vallarta, Adriana Alonso motivada por ese sentimiento que ha tenido desde niña respecto a que el ser humano no solo está para nacer, crecer y morir, sino que también debe dejar una huella positiva en su entorno, es como empieza ella junto con sus hijos a regalar juguetes que repartían en colonias donde existen más necesidades. Posteriormente a esta actividad se fueron sumando sus amistades, lo que dio como resultado la unión de más personas, por lo cual se decide crear una asociación civil que lleva por nombre: “Ahora es Tiempo de Dar” de la cual Adriana Alonso es creadora y fundadora, así como presidenta desde hace cinco años cuando se constituyó. Actualmente tiene un programa en conjunto con la organización: “Agua Limpia de México A.C.” con colaboración del Club Rotario Internacional, que consiste en dotar de filtros de agua a comunidades y escuelas rurales para mejorar la calidad del agua. Su principal proyecto está en la colonia: Lomas de Valle, en donde se construye un centro comunitario con material reciclado y los recursos naturales del lugar, aquí los niños ya están tomando clases de preescolar y primaria, y se ofrecen diversos talleres de utilidad para las personas. Así también se otorgan servicios de atención médica, dental, terapias alternativas y terapias psicológicas para las personas de bajos recursos de las comunidades atendidas, otorgadas por profesionistas que ofrecen sus servicios voluntariamente. Una actividad muy loable la que realiza “Ahora es Tiempo de Dar A.C.”, con la cual su creadora Adriana Alonso se siente muy contenta ya que ha experimentado esa satisfacción de ver que cuando se apoya a los demás todo fluye y se facilitan las cosas logrando los objetivos.

She currently has a program in conjunction with the organization: “Agua limpia de México A.C.” with the collaboration of the Rotary International Club, which consists of providing water filters to rural communities and schools, to improve water quality. Her main project is in the Colonia Lomas de Valle, where a community center is built with recycled material and the natural resources of the place, here the children are already taking classes of preschool and primary, and offer various workshops of usefulness for people. Health care, dental, alternative therapies and psychological therapies are also provided for the low-income people of the communities served, given by professionals who voluntarily offer their services. A very laudable activity that Adriana Alonso performs through “Now is time to give A.C.”, with which her creator feels very happy as she has experienced that satisfaction of seeing that when you support others, everything flows and makes things easier to achieve objectives. Rank Teniendo como objetivo que jóvenes y niños vean el arte como una posibilidad para desarrollarse y no como una actividad para solo unos cuantos, Rebeca Santiago, pintora, y conductora de programas en radio cultural y radio universidad, junto con otro grupo de personas amantes de la poesía, literatura y pintura, deciden formar “Colectivo Ruta 383”, un proyecto con la finalidad de promover el arte a través de generar eventos artísticos para la comunidad. Rebeca Santiago socia fundadora, hace una invitación a quienes deseen formar parte de esta comunidad, ya que considera que arte no debe ser ser individualista ni elitista, sino colectivo en donde todos podemos involucrarnos. “Colectivo Ruta 383” se creó hace cuatro años, los cuales han sido de trabajo, experimentación en diferentes medios, cambios, creación de proyectos y de crecimiento en torno a la propuesta de lograr que cualquier persona tenga acceso al arte. Actualmente este colectivo se ha convertido en “Asociación civil Comunidad 383” de la cual se desprenden varios proyectos, entre ellos: “Arte en Movimiento”, que tiene como propósito estimular la creación artística en niños, trabajando con materiales reciclados en diferentes talleres itinerantes que se realizan en diversas colonias. Rebeca considera que quienes llegan a Puerto Vallarta vienen también a dar algo, no sólo a recibir, por ello la iniciativa de crear esta comunidad que promoviera el arte en todos los niveles sociales. La aportación a Puerto Vallarta de parte de Rebeca Santiago y compañeros de asociación, sin duda es destacable porque apoyan y promueven para que niños y jóvenes conozcan las diversas artes y a la vez desarrollen en una actividad productiva. Cabe destacar que algunos niños y jóvenes por falta de conocimiento no tienen la oportunidad de expresar su sensibilidad y creatividad, con lo cual pierden la oportunidad de desarrollar su talento.

Aiming for young people and children to see art as a possibility to develop and not as an activity for only a few, Rebeca Santiago, painter, and host of programs in Radio Cultural and Radio Universidad, along with another group of people who love poetry, literature and painting, decide to form “Collective Rute 383”, a project with the purpose of promoting the art through artistic events for the community. Rebecca Santiago as founding partner, makes an invitation to those who want to be part of this community, because she considers that art should not be individualistic or elitist, but collective so we can all get involved. “Collective Route 383” was created four years ago, which have been of work, experimentation in different media, changes, projects creation and growth around the proposal to make anyone have access to art. Currently this group has become a “Civic Association Community 383” through which several projects are released, including: “Art in Motion”, which aims to stimulate artistic creation in children, working with recycled materials in different itinerant workshops that are carried out in different colonies. Rebecca considers that those who arrive in Puerto Vallarta also come to give something, not only to receive, thus the initiative to create this community that promotes art at all social levels. The contribution to Puerto Vallarta by Rebecca Santiago and her companions, no doubt is remarkable because they support and promote for children and young people to know the various arts and at the same time develop themselves in a productive activity.
