THE 420 BOOK

From Reefer Madness to Prop 64

How We All Got Here From There

Now that we can all see for miles from the top of the legalization mountain that Prop 64 has helped us to climb, it’s nice to enjoy the view for a little while at least. It’s important to rejoice once you are on the pinnacle but it’s also important to remember marijuana is still against the law federally, so you need to watch out for any of those government legal eagles swooping down while you’re standing on the summit.

Still, there’s a lot to see from up here and the higher up you are (pun intended) the further back your viewpoint goes. In fact, standing out on a ledge and cupping your palm over your eyes allows you a clear view back in time to the days of the stodgy-sounding Marihuana Tax Act of 1937. No need to write in about the spelling; that’s the way they rolled back then.

A big takeaway

Here’s the big takeaway from those days so long ago. The Marihuana Tax Act made it legal to import the drug—that’s right, you could import it, possess and distribute it by abiding with several regulations like an annual tax of twenty-four dollars. That’s a little over $400 dollars today. There’s more. The Customs Agency Service of the day even wrote up a report that stated, in part: Mariuana may be cultivated or grown wild in almost any locality. Inasmuch as this drug is so readily obtained in the United States, it is not believed to be the subject of much organized smuggling from other countries. Grab hold of yourself before you start crying over spilled milk and imagining the Mary Jane Empire you could have created and console yourself by keeping in mind the Marihuana Tax Act did outlaw the sale of weed. Hard line

“” W ho do we thank for the wonderful blessing that is the victory of Prop 64?… ...It’ s you, dear reader. Each and every one of you.” ” ”

Fast forward to the more hard-line 1950s and The Boggs Act. Now, things start to get familiar for your Mom and Dad and even those strange old grandparents with the tie-dyed shirts and floppy sandals. We can imagine the gavel coming down as judges with brush cuts handed out stiff mandatory sentences like 2 to 10 years for a first offence and a fine of up to $20,000 dollars. It’s really a shame nesting comfortably on our lofty perch that’s full of promise when we read that other states all fell in line with these stricter laws. Ohio even passed one back in those days of black and white televisions flickering with “Father Knows Best” providing for a 20 to 40 year sentence for the sale of a narcotic. Louisiana passed a law one year later that could carry a term of 99 years. The Boggs Act Hearings were equally frightening with Commissioner Anslinger drawing a straight line between smoking weed and heroin addiction. Dark times for weed indeed, but look up, dear readers, from the deep dark spaces at the base of the mountain to the sun that’s poking through the clouds to mark the changes that brought us here.

Nixon!

There. Just behind that cloud that was the Controlled Substances Act when Richard “Tricky Dickey” Nixon labelled our herb a Schedule 1 substance. It’s a dark cloud that still casts a shadow but that beam of sunlight behind it is the Shafer Commission that recommended way back in 1972 that pot be unshackled from its Schedule 1 chains. Although the push didn’t work, it opened a door if even just a crack. Still there were mighty headwinds and it was clear the battle lines were drawn between those who would smoke and those who would not. Uncle Sam loomed large even back then with even the pharmaceutical or medical communities standing behind the government, waging their collective fingers and warning there hadn’t been enough controlled studies done to warrant making pot mainstream.

Gentle Smoke

So, the questions becomes: How is it that we stand here today, on the summit of being able to enjoy recreational weed with

the collective breeze of freedom that’s so sweetly tainted by a gentle smoke blowing through our hair? Who, you might ask, do we thank for the wonderful blessing that is the victory of Prop 64? It’s you, dear reader. Each and every one of you. Consider the fact that several states decriminalized marijuana in the 1970s and New Mexico even stood at the front of the Peace and Love line with a short lived program to look at the medical benefits way back in 1978.

Grassroots

It’s been a grassroots ( pun intended) movement right from the start. No doubt, the path even here in California hasn’t always been represented by a line jogging upward on a graph. Proposition 19 in 1972 marked the first time we tried to legalize pot and it was rejected, but the constant pressure that eventually brought us Prop 215 in 1996 and legalized medical marijuana is finally here. Through it all, people like you and those long haired flower children that rolled around in the mud and listened to music that was actually played live, were working together. Citizen support at the state level is the way that we pushed legalization through. It’s all about that wonderful intersection in time when a few generations pushed forward and we all wound up standing on the pinnacle created by Prop 64 and the constant pressure everyone supplied.

Enjoy the collective view! By Rob Starr

If You Smoke,

Bob’s your uncle By Rob Starr

Living in North America means enjoying one of the finest standards of living in the world. All the really good modern stuff is here and now that more and more states are legalizing marijuana, we can get into all the things our crass consumer-based society has at its disposal with a heightened awareness and openness that makes everything sound better, feel great and taste like nothing else. Still, facts are facts and some of the pastimes and/or staples of our Western lifestyle ( like weed) have their cultural roots somewhere else. And that’s why if you smoke, Bob’s your Uncle.

Marley that is. Those in the know understand the contribution of that Jamaican-man-of-the super-dread who could lay down a laid back tune that sloshed with an enchanting rhythm like the ocean washing up on the moonlit shoes of his home. Those who understand don’t question the link between the omnipresent blunt in his hand and the rapturous smile on his face in most of his pictures. There’s no doubt there’s a connection between Bob Marley and everyone’s favourite weed and if there was ever an ambassador of Mary Jane, Bob would hold the title. Here’s just a few reasons why: To Bob, marijuana was a sacrament. The Green Leaf was as holy to him as the Bible to a Christian and the Torah to those among us that follow the Jewish faith. That doesn’t mean he just liked to smoke either because Mr. Marley was a Rastafarian, and a member of that religious faith that used the herb for religious and medical purposes. What’s more, Bob wasn’t always a Rasta Man—he converted from Christianity in the 1960s. Bob wrote the kind of love songs that no one has even been able to equal. “No Woman, No Cry,” isn’t just one of the most moving of these, it’s also a fine example of the spirit of peace and love Bob and pot bring out in us all. Even though that song was considered one of his biggest hits and more than likely his most financially successful, he turned the song writing credits over to a Jamaican soup kitchen. Smoking weed makes us all more generous and peaceful—more willing and able to reach out to our fellow human beings and stay united in the human family. Bob understood that and even helped other famous musicians like Eric Clapton start their own solo careers by allowing him to cover I Shot The Sheriff way back in 1974.

A Name That Still Means Something Today

Famous people come and go and their names eventually drift away down the river of time. Bob Marley’s name has always held fast because he was an ambassador for reggae music and integrity at the same time. He once said that how great a man was depended more on how he could positively affect the people around him rather than his wealth. To that end, there are still a few family-run charities that carry on in Bob’s name spreading his gospel of love and compassion for our fellow man.

The Rita Marley Foundation

This is the foundation that encourages scholarships for youths to develop their skills in places like the Caribbean and the United States and takes great pride in refurbishing and rebuilding healthcare centers and libraries. The indigent music and arts program carries on Bob’s goodwill toward everyone by supporting services to other musicians that include emergency grants and access to healthcare.

1Love

This is the charity that’s runs by Bob Marley’s family. To date, they have completed numerous projects, raised awareness on several issues and well over $1 million dollars. This legacy prompted by Bob Marley’s estate has changed over a quarter of 250,000 lives since it was started.

Bob Lives On…….

There are even recent reports that the legacy of one of the greatest influential musicians and fellow smokers of all time is set to take another turn into the future. Tuff Gong, the factory where Bob Marley pressed vinyl music, is set to reopen partially thanks to an American company. The legendary factory was established in Kingston, Jamaica, way back in 1965 and includes a recording studio, a record shop and a processing plant as well as some other features. Where the grass is ALWAYS GREENER on the other side

21

From the early days of his youth, music has been a positive constant in the life of E. N Young. A talented Reggae artist who was recently nominated for a San Diego music award, believes in a beautiful reggae community with a shared attitude. The reggae artist, has a strong spiritual connection to the music, which is prominent in his attitude and approach to life. Young explains that Reggae music is more than a genre. Born from a strong history, it is comprised of a community of like-minded people who wish to share a positive message. In addition to being an influential musician, E. N Young is taking on endeavors within the cannabis industry. Working on his own project as well as working closely with a grow site, Young is taking on some of the challenges of the industry. Moreover, he acknowledges the cannabis movement, and recognizes some of the stigmas which are holding back the green industry. By: B.C.

22

THE 420 BOOK

E.N Young be cannabis conscious

TBC: How did you get into music? E: “Music has always been a part of me, since I was young. My parents got me into piano at 5 years old, and I’ve been playing ever since. I started the drums when I was 12, because I broke my arm, and so I started playing drums and piano a lot since the age of 12— it’s always been a part of me. Heavily influenced by Jamaican reggae in particular, E. N Young shares the unique history of the genre. A culture with a strong spiritual presence, he recounts of their adversities such as poverty and displacement, and comments on the results of this experience. E: “This music came out of suffering, in Jamaica, and usually out of suffering blossoms a flower—and reggae music is that flower.” Could you tell me more about the cultural history of Jamaican reggae? E: “Jamaica was set up by slavery; they put African people on boats to Jamaica, and that was the foundation of the culture that was there. Out of that, came this beautiful music. Based on poverty, and people taken from their homes, they were trying to create their own culture.” The historical and cultural aspects of the genre are rooted in the musician’s mentality, and are reflected by his positive demeanor. Young is well informed of the cultural and historical significance of the genre, which only adds more depth to his character. As we transition into the genre today, E. N Young is working hard, and transforming the industry.

In regards to your music, where are your projects taking you now? Working in his studio, Imperial Sound located within San Diego, E. N Young has been producing music full-time. Within the last couple of years, he has produced about 50 albums, including his own album “Call on Me” which was recently nominated for a San Diego Music Award in January 2017. E: “I [currently] have 3 albums out, and I’m really excited because I will be making some [more] epic albums of my own. I plan to continue to push good music forward, and put out a positive message to the world. I love helping artists as well, and helping them to put their sound together.” In addition, he also has his record label “Roots Musician Records”, where he has produced records and released music for various artists. Some great artists from this label include Gonzo, an amazing artist who also loves ganja. There is also Tatanka from Colorado, who are in the farming business as well as the music industry. Inna Vision a group from Hawaii, and Mystic Roots Band from NorCal who have recently released a new album. Are there any ladies on your label? E. N Young has produced albums for four women oh his label, including Hirie. Rebecca Arscott is the most recent addition to Roots Musician Records. Hailing from New Mexico, E. N Young produced a five-song album for her here in San Diego. In addition to Rebecca, he has worked with Leilani Wolfgramm, an incredible continued on page 30

Would you say that Reggae music requires a consciousness of your own energy? E: “Reggae music came from suffering and what rose out of the suffering was spirituality. They dealt with Rastafari, living as though we’re alive and we’re conscious of what we’re doing. It’s very spiritual. A lot of people within Reggae music are very peaceful who are trying to get along to spread good. This spiritual upbringing through the music [still permeates] and the cultural roots are very strong. The spirituality of Reggae music has spoken to me since a very early age.” E. N Young is very attuned to himself and his spirituality. Represented in his music, and his lifestyle choices, his positive demeanor and conscious energy radiate from his personality. As he continues to develop music within the industry, he is pursuing his endeavors with the community in mind. Where the grass is ALWAYS GREENER on the other side

Polynesian artist. As well as Janelle Phillips, who he helped to produce her first album. E: “I’m a big supporter of helping women within the music industry. You don’t see it too often. It’s one of those things that have been dominated by men. When I was touring, and playing my own music with my band Imperial Sound, I had one female singer come with me. It’s important to me because I feel it’s the balance of life and the earth, the universe needs that male and female balance. I think people find it more attractive as well, because women are the most beautiful thing out there! It brings a different spiritual element.” Young continues to support artists within the genre of Reggae. As an influential member of the scene, he is dedicated to producing music that represents the artists to their full capabilities. He works hard to provide the best sound for artists, helping them to reach their ultimate goals. Taking genuine pride in his work, E.N Young promotes a positive message that is represented by the various artists on his label. In addition to being involved in the music industry, E. N Young is an active member of the cannabis community. A believer of “conscious cannabis”, there is a connection between mind, body, and soul that is experienced through cannabis. Young is working within the industry to develop new products, and is working with a grower in a more northern part of California. Let’s talk about cannabis! E. N Young is not only a fantastic musician, he also dabbles within the green economy. Working on several projects within the industry, Young represents Monterey Cannabis, as the San Diego Sales Manager. Available as a valuable resource on distribution, Young encourages the local San Diego market to incorporate Monterey Cannabis as a top-quality distributor. A strong cannabis supporter, Young is taking strides to help provide quality medicine to patients in San Diego. E: “Although I have focused on my music, I am also the San Diego Manager for Monterey Cannabis. I have been going to this beautiful farm in Monterey —which they have been calling the biggest ‘legal grow’ in cannabis. They mostly provide flowers, and I have been working with San Diego distribution as well.” 24

THE 420 BOOK

As we discuss the green economy, the conversation transitions, acknowledging the needs of the consumer in alternative medicine market. He estimates that the price of herb is expected to drop, as the industry progresses, and attributes this reasoning to businesses such as Monterey Cannabis. Because of its large distribution and cultivation, it can afford to provide products at least than the market rate. E: “The marijuana that was available years ago, compared to that, the price is dropping. Which is a good thing, because more people will be able to afford it and it ties in with the culture. More people will be able to reach, rich or poor, and the herb may be able to help them—which is a positive thing.” E. N Young shares his sentiments about the business and the industry as a whole. Proud to be involved within the cannabis industry, he recognizes the cannabis movement. “I’m very happy to do that, because it’s very good product and I stand by it. I love being a part of supporting the herb, and supporting the movement in general. I’ve always been a big fan of cannabis and it’s always been a huge part of my life. Music is my passion, and it combines very well with cannabis.” As the discussion with Young progresses, the topic of the cannabis movement is revisited. He recounts the stigma that has been associated with herb, and states that there needs to more awareness about the topic of cannabis. He mentions how the legalization aspect has transformed the cannabis landscape for the better. He states how some of the complexities of the topic are relieved with the legalization aspect. While he recognizes that there needs to be an improvement within the system, he believes that medicine should be accessible. Accessible medicine could be seen as a human rights movement, and Young is accepting and supporting of this cause. He sees the cannabis movement as a positive thing, and finds that it is great for healing. Young continues to speak on the subject, in regards to access to medicinal marijuana. He mentions how the media portrays cannabis in a negative light, which continues to perpetuate the stigmas. To Young, cannabis is for healing. What is the cannabis movement to you? E: “The cannabis movement, [needs to be], pushed to a state where

culturally that we know that it’s medicine and for healing. Just as we eat certain products, cannabis can be something positive in our life. For so many years, there was a negative aspect about it, and I never understood why as a kid. There needs to be awareness. Cannabis is amazing for healing, and I just want to push that awareness within the movement.” How does cannabis influence your music? E.N Young tells how he is a very spiritual person, and how this vibe is represented by himself and the music. Cannabis helps with creation of and creativity within, the music, and it gives him a positive light towards the music. He sees cannabis almost as a sacred practice, something that should be appreciated and not taken advantage of. He speaks on the importance of being aware of outer mind, body, and soul, and discusses how cannabis can help us achieve that mindfulness. Believing in a strong universal connection, Young explains that the music comes together with his spirituality. E: “Cannabis definitely influences my life, and therefore my music. I use it more for meditation, and try to use cannabis consciously. A lot of people, [have a tendency] to abuse aspects in their life such as food or alcohol. I am vegan, because I try to be conscious of the way I eat and live my life. I try to be very conscious when I use

“It really influences my music a lot. When I go through these times of meditation with the herb, it gives me creative spurts. It lays down the foundation for my creativity and my music. After smoking cannabis, I find myself writing melodies or a new song, or creating the foundation for a new project. Cannabis really stimulates my mind, and helps the creation of music.” In these magnified moments of increased mindfulness, E. N Young shares that the cannabis heightens his creativity. He believes that he should be conscious and mindful of all aspects in life, whether he is creating new music or pursuing new endeavors. He holds this discipline to all aspects of his life for the best of his ability, including his cannabis practice. Young’s unique mentality is something to be respected, and is creating a conscious community. Recently, while baked, an excellent idea came to E.N Young during these magnified moments with cannabis. He recounts the details of his idea, and has since put it into fruition. What is your greatest Hi-Dea™? (A great idea, when you’re really stoned) E: “I smoked some slymer—this is a very euphoric [strain]. It immediately gets me creative and I felt a burst of stimulation. My HiDea was to make a brand of conscious marijuana cigarettes—not blazing so much and taking advantage of the herb. I’ve noticed if I wait 8 hours to smoke, which is hard to do, and I take one draw—I become stimulated off of that little bit.” E. N Young’s Samplers will be available in February. A pack of seven mini-joints, these joints are perfect for the conscious smoker. Roughly around .3 per joint, they are perfect for feeling uplifted while keeping a conscious cannabis practice. With every pack of Sampler’s, a free music download or stream will be available, so that you may feel the connection between cannabis, music, and a conscious being. E:“With the herb, I always want it to be a sacrament, and to be conscious of smoking. To know the purpose of why I’m smoking, and if I choose to get so high, it would be intentional.”

cannabis as well, because I find it to be sacred. [Sometimes] I find myself waiting until the evening, after work, and it kind of becomes a sacrament. When I blaze, it can take me from a negative day to seeing the positive and the light, and it’s a blessing.” E. N Young emphasizes the need for conscious cannabis consumption. Through a combination of partaking and a conscious awareness, he believes that the medicine is more effective. While he admits there are his wake-and-bake days, he mentions how he becomes much more mindful if he waits to consume cannabis. To him the practice should be respected while being enjoyed. It should be clear that he does not dismiss those who practice more often, instead he encourages that every so often, the cannabis consumer waits for the opportunity for mindful consumption. He states that it will create an incomparable high for those who toke early within the day.

E.N Young is a mindful reggae artist who believes in conscious cannabis consumption. Working within the industry for a while now, he has introduced new musicians and bands into the music scene. E. N Young is especially aware of the need for better representation of women within the music industry, and is doing his part to promote and support women. A very spiritual person, Young is deeply connected to the cultural significance of the genre and emulates the good vibes that we have come to associate with Reggae music. He is also a cannabis supporter who is involved and working within the green industry with Monterey Cannabis. A kind soul who believes in the betterment and advancement of the cannabis industry, Young is working towards a mindful community with the advent of his new product. E. N Young’s Sampler’s will be available in February for the conscious cannabis consumer.

Sarah Jain

Sarah is 33 yrs. old is from San Marcos, TX and lives in San Francisco, CA Measurements: W-23”, H-32” , B-32C, Height-5’5” How did you get into modeling? “I was always interested in it. I started modeling in a few bikini pageants when I was 23 years old. Then I got hired on the national web store HerRoom. My goal was to do cannabis modeling but they didn’t have that type of work yet. But we have evolved quite a way since then.” What do you do to stay in shape? “I work out – I have a fitness routine every day. I am a celiac – so I live off of acai bowls and I cook my own meals. ” What do you like to do in your free time? “Hiking, nature - taking dabs on a nude beach.” What did you want to be when you were growing up? “I always wanted to become a model/actress. So, I am pretty much doing what I always wanted too.” What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why? “Bon Appetit – Some of my friends are the writers.” Favorite re-run? “South Park.” What were you like in high school? “I was in trouble all the time. I was always doing my own thing but I was smart.” Who is your celebrity look alike? “Oh there are many Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Silverstone, Avril Lavigne.” What would you name your autobiography? “Hash Has My Heart.” What chore do you absolutely HATE doing? “Mopping – It just never seems clean enough.”

bishop don juan

We must always keep our eye on the prize! Some people are being destroyed because of lack of knowledge. They have no idea or truly don’t understand the word of God. I come to bring you a peek at life in Jesus Christ. You do have a choice of happiness, even if your mind 32

says you don’t. I’m here to tell you that you do. Walk by faith and not by sight because things may appear bad when you look at a situation with the naked eye. I challenge you to look with the spiritual eye. Make it a good day and run and tell that! —Bishop 3:33

What is the nerdiest thing about you? “I spend most of my time on my computer and being super organized. I am super OCD about how I clean my nail after dabs.” Do you smoke marijuana? What is your preferred method of medicating? “Of course! I was dabbing before there were dabs.” You run your own event called the Hash Masters Challenge. What makes it stand out from the rest? “I started it in Barcelona and recently had one in San Francisco. Everyone enters in their best hash but use the same product and the same amount of product. Many times people enter in a really great strain but suck at the technique and they end up winning anyways. This way the real master wins because it is a fair competition. It is a high end event with caterers and all the works. Make sure to check it out on Instagram and Facebook @HashMastersChallenge

10 Top Can’t Miss Cannabis Events in 2017

Cannabis events are a great chance to get away from the prying, ever judgmental eyes of society and just hang out with some like-minded people for a couple of days. You get to chill with some cool guys and girls and see some pretty amazing parts of the world, not to mention create some equally amazing memories. 2016 turned out to be a great year for the industry and it looks like next year will be even better. 2017 is shaping up to be the best year for cannabis events ever and some of them are already on our radar as absolute musts. Here are the ten cannabis events you won’t want to miss in 2017.

The Secret Cup, Las Vegas Jan.27 The Secret Cup remains one of the most popular cannabis events in the world. The 2016 Season Finals of The Secret Cup are due to take place in Las Vegas on the 27th of January and will be held in conjunction with The American Glass Expo, making it the first crossover event the cannabis industry has ever seen. Party lovers should pay extra attention to this event owing to the location. The Secret Cup’s Las Vegas finals are the perfect way to satisfy your love of cannabis while enjoying a spot of gambling.

Spannabis, Barcelona March 10-12 The creatively named Spannabis is arguably the most important cannabis festival in Europe. Throughout the 10th, 11th, and 12th of March 2017, Spannabis will operate out of the beautiful Barcelona, welcoming cannabis enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond. If you’re the kind of person who likes their cannabis in the sun, Spannabis 2017 might just be the event for you.

and could easily be mistaken for a mainstream music festival, so if you like a soundtrack to accompany your cannabis this is the event for you.

Abra Ca Dabs Festival, Victorville March 24-26

Seattle’s Hempfest began as a small group of people smoking pot in 1991. Since then, it has evolved into a cannabis festival juggernaut and typically welcomes 100,000 people over the course of three August days. Seattle Hempfest has the added appeal of taking place in Washington, the US capital and resident state of the president, so the festival shenanigans can double as a political statement.

If you can’t make it to Hempcon’s Heart of Nature event, you may be interested in the Abra Ca Dabs festival, which runs on the 25th and 26th of March. The 2017 Abra Ca Dabs festival will take place in Victorville, California and feature guest speakers, live performances, and award winning vendors. The Abra Ca Dabs festival seeks to educate those who attend about the benefits and legal status of medicinal cannabis in the state of California and beyond. This is a particularly good event if you are trying to convert a friend to cannabis or to show them once and for all that it is not the life destroying drug many still inexplicably believe it to be.

Seattle Hempfest Aug.

The Emerald Cup, Santa Rosa Dec.

If you’re looking for a cannabis event to close out your year, you should consider The Emerald Cup, which is due to take place in December 2017. It will be held in Santa Rosa, California, so you don’t have to worry about the winter months affecting your enjoyment of the festivities. UNDERSTANDING

VAPORIZATION Vaping technologies are a sub-sector of the vaporization industry with the cannabis and recreational market. Vaporization has a history beginning about seven years ago, with the advent of e-cigarettes. However, the transition from the tobacco market to the recreational and medicinal cannabis market has created some issues with the hardware. To better understand how this technology works, I spoke with Dave from Jupiter Research who is an engineer in the field of vaping technology. By: B.C.

Within the sector of vaping technologies, it became apparent that consumers were trying to use valuable cannabis oils with inefficient hardware designed for tobacco derived nicotine, e-liquids. Members of the industry were trying to adapt the original tobacco hardware designs for high-viscosity extractions, but this doesn’t work. It burns the liquid, or the liquid doesn’t properly transport to the heater. When a person overheats oil, or gets a bad taste, it’s connected to the oil transportation process. It’s is also important that in the cartridge when the product transports the oil in a closed reservoir, as the oil is being consumed, it needs to be replaced with air—it is just as important for the oil to breathe. The biggest difference between tobacco vaping and marijuana vaping is the viscosity of the fluids. E-liquid has the viscosity of 500, and most oil extracts of cannabis have 80,000 and above. The viscosity interferes with the flow of the fluid, the higher the viscosity the slower the fluid travels towards the atomizer for vaporization. In regards to the health benefits of vaporization, there are some pros compared to the traditional methods of smoking. With traditional methods of smoking there exists side effects. During the combustion process of organic materials, when you burn cannabis or tobacco, there isn’t enough oxygen in the 52

THE 420 BOOK

environment to complete the combustion process which then results in partial molecules which recombine into new organic chemicals which may or may not cause problems. Along with the THC, you consume these organic chemicals. With vaporization, the process is changing the physical state of the product and not the chemical structure. You’re heating the oil from a liquid to the state of a vapor, which then coalesces into tiny droplets—which is what you see, tiny droplets of oil which has been vaporized. Dabbing is also a vaporization process. The nail is heated, and the fluid goes on the nail, and the oil is vaporized. The science behind vaporization shows us that it is necessary to use the correct paraphernalia when using high quality extractions, because using tobacco based vaporizers will result in burnt liquid and a bad taste. This is because of the difference in viscosity levels between the two types of fluids. Ultimately vaporization causes less stress to your body when consuming cannabis, because it lacks the combustion process associated with traditional forms of cannabis consumption. Finally, dabbing or vaping high quality extractions are the purest way to appreciate the cannabis.
