VET-MEDS VETERAN OWNED AND OPERATED

VET-Meds is a service-connected disabled Veteran owned and operated medicinal cannabis collective tailored for the Veteran community, but open for all patients. Having an entirely service connected disabled Veteran staff, we take pride in helping and providing for our own.

Therefore, the bigger our collective gets, the more deserving Veterans will be employed and taken care of. Our collective is designed to provide gainful employment to Veterans and transitioning service members, with the intentions of providing them with financial stability and a quality working environment.

Two crucial factors exist in the negative statistics plaguing our Veteran population today. First, is the aspect of separating from the bond and camaraderie that is experienced and shared while serving in the armed forces. Secondly, there is the fact that every service member simply just needs a “new mission� or new value of service to hold onto and be proud of. VET-Meds allows both these factors to be resolved through establishing a collective based upon giving back and helping our own.

Providing sustainable income and a healthy working environment, allows that feeling of cohesion and camaraderie to still exist. This is a small step in the right direction in reducing the negative statistics and replacing

them with positive ones about our Veteran population today.

Along with providing a service for the community, VET-Meds is also committed to collecting quantifiable data on Veteran MMJ patients as to what they are utilizing cannabis to treat, and how much is being utilized to treat that specific ailment. This information is being collected with the intentions of providing sustainable evidence for the Veterans Administration to allow cannabis therapy to be apart of the Veterans Choice Program. This program allows Veterans to be referred to outside healthcare professionals for treatment of their various symptoms, VETMeds will act as an educational platform, as well as a distribution center for Veterans to learn and acquire natural medicine.

San Diego isn’t just about it’s beautiful beaches and tourist attractions, there’s a grimy underside of the picture that is often overlooked when most think of America’s Finest City. Like many major metropolitan areas, San Diego suffers from inner city poverty, prevalent gang activity, and a large population of people unable to afford the cost of living in their hometown. Which often leaves inner city youth to fall victim to the street life. In 2002, Lincoln Park native, Mitchy Slick burst onto the Hip Hop scene with his debut album ‘Triggeration Station,” which told the tales of the gang life and growing up a product of Southeast San Diego.

He immediately became one San Diego’s most notable rap artists, selling 50,000 units out of his trunk, independently.

Since then Mitchy has toured with DJ Quik, worked with Xzibit, The Game, Gladys Knight, and Lil Wayne; and with producers Sir Jinx, J. Dilla, Madlib, DJ Muggs, and DJ Khalil.

In addition to performing and writing new music Mitchy Slick created and runs Tha Wrongkind Records with L.A. affiliates Wrongkind Ingles, and connected with artists from Pasadena to Portland, OR. He mentors Youngkind artists OsoOcean, 2Die4, Juju, and Baby Matt. He is currently working on his newest album “Triggeration Station 2,” due out this Summer. In addition to his music Mitchy Slick is pursuing another passion, being an advocate for medical marijuana. W Carmel, Cannabis and Peanut Butter Bars Directions Preheat oven to 350°F Coat 13 x 9 pan with no-stick spray

Ingredients 3 1 package ready to use refrigerated pre-sliced sugar cookies 3 1/2 cup Cannabutter* 3 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk 3 1 cup packed light brown sugar 3 1 cup granulated sugar 3 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs 3 1 (11.5 oz) milk chocolate baking chips 3 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter 3 1/2 cup finely chopped Dry Roasted Peanuts

Place cookie slices in pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until light golden brown.

Cool for 15 minutes.

Make carmel sauce: In a heavy saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in condensed milk, brown sugar and granulated sugar until blended. Add graham cracker crumbs and mix well (mixture will be thick). Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Pour caramel evenly over warm cookie crust.

In medium bowl, microwave chocolate chips in 1 minute increments, stirring in between until smooth. (do not over cook at one time or chocolate will burn). Once melted, stir in peanut butter and mix through.

Spread evenly over caramel layer and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.

Refrigerate 1 hour or until chocolate is set and then cut and enjoy!

Store covered in refrigerator.

HOW TO GET YOUR MMJ CARD BE LEGAL!

The State of California has given a wonderful gift to patients like you by allowing access to the benefits of medical marijuana.

By following a few simple rules your purchase and use of MMJ will help keep you from a ticket and out of jail.

So you aSk, how do I geT a legal MMJ ReCoMMendaTIon? The pRoCeSS IS SIMple.

Step 1

Walk-in between11:30AM to 5:30PM Monday thru Friday. No appointment is needed.

Step 2

Bring your CA driver’s license, CA photo ID, passport, or other valid form of identification, showing proof you live in California. This can be rental/lease agreement, utility bill, phone bill, DMV car registration. The document must have your name and California address. You will be asked to fill out a few simple forms describing your medical complaint, and answer a few questions. The Doctor will conduct a medical evaluation to assess your medical condition.

NOTE: You can be assured your visit will be discreet, respectful, and 100% confidential. We are HIPPA compliant. and all online patient 24/7 verification information is encrypted for your protection.) Many San Diego MMJ Clinics use a private website for 24/7 Verifications. These unsecure websites are easily hacked revealing your patient information.

Step 3

Once the Doctor has spoken with you and evaluated your complaint (and you are approved) the Doctor will hand write a detailed evaluation for inclusion in your medical records.

NOTE: A written evaluation by the Doctor is critical should you ever need to see a Judge in a court of law. The Judge must see the Doctor’s written evaluation of your complaint or your recommendation may be ruled as NOT valid. Illegal MMJ clinics DO NOT provide you a written evaluation in your medical records, leaving you open to fines or jail if found not valid by a Judge.

Step 4

Your recommendation will then be hand signed in ink by the Doctor stating that you have been evaluated and approved in our clinic for a medical condition.

NOTE: Although On-line video cam (Skype) Doctor evaluations are technically legal according to the CA Medical Board, Skype primarily only benefits patients that can’t leave their home or bed. Just remember electronic, copied and Ink Stamped Doctor Signatures, are not valid with San Diego Health & Human Services. Your Physician Statement (Recommendation) MUST be signed in PERSON by the Doctor in ink.

Always ask to see a Valid CA Medical License from the person you are seeing before spending your hard earned cash. your approved patient information will be included in a secure military encrypted patient verification data base (SafeaccessMd) which can be accessed 24/7/365 via phone or internet by law enforcement or dispensaries wishing to verify your approved status to purchase meds. with your new MMJ physician Statement/Recommendation, you will now be permitted to grow, purchase and transport medical marijuana in quantities pursuant to California legal guidelines.
