MARCH 27 - 28 | MONARCH FEST A fun two-day festival celebrating all things monarchs, milkweed, and migration! Receive free native milkweed and native nectar plant seeds, participate in fun games and crafts, and learn how you can help end the extinction of the monarch butterfly. APRIL 15 - 25 | FIESTA SAN ANTONIO Countless parades on the street or on the river for your enjoyment. Women often wear colorful Mexican/Oaxacan-style dresses with original designs and coronas, crowns made of paper flowers, also very bright. APRIL 4 - 11 | STRAWBERRY FEST Our festival has continuous entertainment featuring concerts with nationally known Western and Tejano music stars, regional bands, gunslingers, a carnival, various contests, and rodeo performances. Don’t forget the strawberries! We are located in the “Strawberry Capital of Texas,” so you can say we’re pretty well known for this delicious berry. Come on down and enjoy all of this fun with us! APRIL 20 - 22 | MARIACHI FEST This free Fiesta event features Mariachi bands and Folklorico dancers from local schools, colleges and dance studios. Each group wears traditional mariachi and Folklorico costumes. Boats randomly stop and play music for guests sitting outdoors.
