For too long companies in the media sector have complained of a lack of specific management training for their staff. Too many courses are generic or aimed at the wrong sector. Too many are delivered in a style not suiting the business practices of the industry. Too many are too expensive! Due to support from Westminster City Council, UK Screen has helped shape a brand new programme of intensive and efficient courses to help build your future management. And for eligible companies these courses are discounted by 80%. Each can be taken separately as is needed, but some companies may consider the whole programme as the essential investment needed to help ensure success tomorrow. These courses are: • Tailored to meet the needs of your industry • Delivered by training professionals who understand how your industry works and what tips and techniques are “just right”; • Focused on practical actions that can be immediately taken back to the workplace and implemented; • Made up of learners from the media sector; • Held in a comfortable, central London location; • ½ day long (usually in the afternoon to allow for essential networking to take place afterwards). Due to the highly involved and practical nature of the classes, each learner will sign a declaration of confidentiality before commencing allowing for all delegates to be able to participate with openness and honesty. Unless stated, prior experience is not needed though to ensure maximum impact it is helpful if the learner can use the skills back in the workplace.
