In the land of the free, each man is in charge of his own destiny. Willy Loman knows and cherishes this truth. After a life of honest hard work, it's Willy's birthright to retire with his loving wife and watch his two athletic, handsome sons continue his legacy.
The play is presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Limited
Sponsored by
The RSC's official Brand Partner
HOW TO
BOOK
Yet as old age begins to take hold and retirement beckons, Willy's dream seems further away than ever. Decades of graft have somehow failed to translate into wealth and his eldest son refuses to follow the path his father has chosen for him. As actions buried in his past re-surface, Willy struggles to reconcile his long cherished dream with the life he has actually lived. Due to the speed of this transfer announcement we are unfortunately not able to offer a Priority Booking period. However, there is a dedicated exclusive Supporters' and Members' ticket allocation with no booking fees when bought through your Ticket Hotline or the RSC website.

Following their performances as Falstaff and Prince Hal in Henry IV Parts I & II (2014/15), Antony Sher and Alex Hassell play Willy Loman and his son Biff. They are joined by Harriet Walter as Willy's loyal wife Linda. Arthur Miller's 1949 play, Death of a Salesman is surely the greatest American tragedy ever written. Directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran, this production celebrates the centenary of Miller's birth. Noël Coward Theatre, St Martin’s Lane, London, WC2N 4AU A Delfont Mackintosh Theatre

RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran and the creative team that brought you the acclaimed productions of Richard II and Henry IV Parts I & II, continue their journey through Shakespeare’s History Plays with Henry V, performed in the 600th anniversary year of the Battle of Agincourt. Henry IV is dead and Hal is King. With England in a state of unrest, he must leave his rebellious youth behind, striving to gain the respect of his nobility and people. Laying claim to parts of France and following an insult from the French Dauphin, Henry gathers his troops and prepares for a war that he hopes will unite his country. Alex Hassell returns as Henry V, following his performance as Prince Hal in Henry IV Parts I & II.
