INTRODUCING THE LATEST RELEASE OF CROWN WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT

A TEAM OF 15 DEVELOPERS HAVE SPENT A YEAR CREATING VERSION 14
Additionally the Version 14 development has incorporated the ability for cross-platform use. Not only can you now use Crown in Internet Explorer, but also Chrome, Safari and Firefox. The functionality for tablet devices has also been incorporated for overall greater flexibility and mobility. New to Crown Roster is the ‘availability advisor’. This allows managers to offer additional work opportunities to pre-selected groups of staff in order to meet resourcing or skills gaps. These alerts can be sent out via SMS or email to allow for quick and easy communication and swifter responses to allocate work where it is needed. This functionality has been designed to aid companies in demand management – and in particular for those who use seasonal workers, zero-hours contracts or part-time contracts.
A team of 15 developers have spent a year creating Version 14. It comes on the back of ‘Crown Analytics’, a module developed to provide insight into company efficiencies as well as energise employee understanding, and ‘Crown Mobile’, a platform which can be used on mobile phones which was launched last year and gives staff easier access to self-service features like clocking in/out and requesting leave. Version 14 is now being applied to all new customer accounts and will be applied to existing customer accounts over the year. London Olympia, Lofthouse of Fleetwood, Fusion Lifestyle and Pets at Home are among Crown’s existing client list due to migrate on to the new release. INSIGHTS & BLUG
CROWN’S CUSTOMER CONFERENCES 2018 Crown’s Annual Customer Conference is being held in Stratford upon Avon again this year. Last year’s Insights and BLUG Conferences were a huge success and highly praised by those who attended. There will be talks and workshops throughout the day as well as a chance to speak face-to-face with us at Crown and directly with other customers. Last year was a huge success and the location was such a hit we are once again holding our BLUG and Insights Conferences at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford upon Avon. BLUG will be Tuesday the 11th September 2018 and Insights will be on Wednesday the 12th September 2018.
It is always a day packed with events including talks, demonstrations, interviews and workshops. It’s a great opportunity to meet other customers and find out how they use the system as well as seeing demonstrations of new modules and software. All registrations for the event will be taking place through the Insights app this year as the app was such a hit last year.
