Is helping second nature to you? With a Diploma of Counselling (CHC51015) you can use your open heart and mind to assess and address your clients’ needs, assisting individuals, couples and families to overcome problems.
SALON MANAGEMENT Always dreamed of managing your own salon? With a Diploma of Salon Management (SHB50216) you can be your own boss as you take the reins and work as a Salon Manager or owner of a Beauty or Spa Salon.
COMMUNITY SERVICES Do you have an open heart and mind? With a Diploma of Community Services (CHC52015) you can tailor your career to the evolving needs of your community. Work as a Welfare Worker, Community Educator or even join a Government or Non Profit Organisation.
REMEDIAL MASSAGE Like to take a hands on approach? With a Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52015) you can use your touch to transform working as a Remedial Massage Therapist or Practitioner. Become an expert counsellor equipped with skills and knowledge that apply in various counselling settings, each for a specific problem solving scenario. We help you develop high level communication skills with clients, provide insight into different counselling theories and practices as well as teach you how to work within a case management framework.
Learn how to work with complex clients and implement community development strategies while you pick up skills in advocacy and case management. In this course, we teach you to support community leadership, provide intervention strategies for clients with mental health, alcohol and other drug issues plus identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
Learn the ins-and-outs of every muscle in your body and develop essential massage techniques while you work with clients who have soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance or restrictions in range of motion. With the opportunity to practice your skills on real clients during your vocational placement, you’ll be a confident massage therapist in no time.

Meet Matt
Meet Natalee
Matt Parry is an active member of the health and fitness industry for many years, Matt completed a Bachelor of Health and Exercise Science in 1998 then graduated from AIAS with a Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2005. Today, Matt is the Director of his own sports and remedial massage business, Recharge HQ - one of Brisbane’s largest Massage Consulting businesses and is also the Head Remedial Sports Therapist at Brisbane Broncos. Matt’s ultimate goal is to make everyone “feel better, move better and live better”.
Natalee Hoare is a mum and passionate business owner in the beauty industry. Since graduating in 2016 with a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and a Certificate II in Nail Technology from AIAS, her life has been anything short of quiet. Natalee is quite the expert in juggling her expanding business, Lash Love & Beauty and mum duties. With two clinic locations in Brisbane, Natalee’s daily mission is to grow her client base and give women a boost of confidence as they walk out the door looking and feeling lovely.

Meet Camille
Camille Cook has turned her qualification into a successful career in the beauty industry. Upon graduating from AIAS with a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Camille began work as a beauty therapist with Ella Bache. From casual to full-time, to manager she was awarded both State and National Therapist of the Year plus State Manager of the Year for Ella Bache. Now as Queensland Field Trainer, Camille travels around coaching therapists in Ella Bache salons and David Jones counters, empowering therapists to provide customers with the very best service.
Lyubov Akkushimova is paving her path in the world of beauty, spa and wellness. After graduating from the Diploma of Beauty in 2015, she moved to Gold Coast and was offered a role in the beauty industry at The Golden Door Gold Coast Day Spa. Lyubov is thriving in this role with the opportunity to offers clients services in massage, aromatherapy, facials, body and spa treatments, waxing and other customised signature treatments.
