Being a debt-free company means stability for AIM and its Members through good and bad times. Since its founding in 1982, AIM has paid its independent distributors over a billion dollars in compensation earnings without ever missing a payment.
Those payments are based on Bonus Volume Points (BVP) assigned to each product: AIM’s worldwide currency. BVP calculated on their country’s currency is exchanged into the currency of your country’s membership.

GarlicAIM
By Charlotte Meschede - Nutritionist
Wild garlic differs from common garlic that we use for cooking and food preparation. Wild garlic is Allium ursinum as opposed to common household garlic which is Allium sativum. The Latin name for wild garlic is derived from the Latin name for bear (ursus) and the Brown Bear’s particular taste for these plants, especially as they emerge from hibernation. According to folklore, the bears use the wild garlic as a means of detoxification after the long winter hibernation, ridding the body of excess toxins. The leaves of wild garlic are also edible and it is widely distributed throughout Europe and Asia.
Why is GarlicAIM unique? GarlicAIM is a combination garlic product. It contains the extract from garlic bulb (Allium sativum) and the leaf of the wild garlic plant (Allium ursinum) and also has fermented black garlic, the products of the fermentation process being of specific benefit. Fermentation of garlic allows the sugars to be broken down into organic acids, which contribute to the nutritional and probiotic action.
Medicinal Uses of Garlic
Western herbal medicine traditionally uses wild garlic as a digestive stimulant, helping to remove toxins from the body and maintaining cardiovascular health. It has also been commonly used for respiratory problems and common skin issues. When I was practising herbal medicine in London, we made use of a garlic and onion syrup as a cold remedy.
One of the most redeeming features of wild garlic is the absence of that distinctive and offensive odour (to some) on the breath after ingestion. This is because the leaves rather than the bulb of wild garlic are used. The leaves contain low concentrations of the sulphur-containing compounds that give the odour and large amounts of chlorophyll, which helps to prevent the smell associated with the enzymatic breakdown of garlic during digestion.
It is therefore no surprise that wild garlic was named the medicinal “Plant of the Year” by the Association for Protection and Research on European Medicinal Plants and was dubbed the “new star” of garlic. All the naturally occurring compounds in wild garlic are far superior to those found in cultivated species commonly used for culinary purposes.
Who should NOT use GarlicAIM?
Don’t be alarmed, as GarlicAIM does not have any toxic side-effects. The only 2 contraindications would be, firstly if you are allergic to garlic, then even taking a wild garlic extract would be expected to elicit the same allergic response as the regular (domestic) garlic. Secondly, do not take this supplement if you already are taking prescription medications to reduce blood clotting, commonly known as blood thinners. Therefore, please check with your doctor or health care practitioner if you are on any prescription medication for cardiovascular disease, including medications to reduce blood pressure, blood clotting or any other factor in the cardiovascular system.
Conclusion
In summary, the main motivation for taking GarlicAIM would be to maintain the health of the entire cardiovascular system (heart and blood vessels) Clearly, lifestyle and diet are crucial in this equation. Making dietary changes such as avoiding saturated fats (animal fats), increasing the intake of good fats such as avocados, olive oil (extra virgin), essential fatty acids (AIMega), eating more fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines), raw nuts and seeds and ensuring a minimum of 150 minutes of exercise per week is fundamental to overall cardiovascular health.
