Are you ready to take your AIM business to new heights in 2023? Success may not come easy, but there's a secret weapon that can help you grow your business: relationships.
Relationships are the lifeblood of network marketing. By building strong connections with your Customers and leaders, you can create a powerful network that will help you reach new heights of success.
Think about it: when you have a loyal following of Customers who know, like and trust you, they will continue to support your business and refer others to it. And when you build strong relationships with your leaders, you gain access to a wealth of knowledge, support and resources that can help you grow your business faster than you ever thought possible.
By Nicolas van Rensburg, AIM Future Development ConsultantRelationships aren't just about getting ahead in the business. They're about creating a community of like-minded individuals who share a common goal: to succeed together. By fostering a culture of community within your team, you create a supportive environment that inspires and motivates your team Members to push themselves to new heights.
So how can you use relationships to grow your business in 2023? Here are 10 tips:
Get personal: Be present: Give generously:
Stay positive: Communicate regularly: Be authentic: Be a problem solver: Celebrate success: Build a network:
Take the time to get to know your Customers and team Members on a personal level. Ask them about their goals and challenges, and find ways to support and encourage them. Attend training sessions and events to show your support by connecting with your team Members in person. Be present, engaged and willing to learn from others.
Be generous with your time, expertise and resources. Give back to your Customers and team Members whenever possible, and watch as your reputation and network grow.
Network marketing can be challenging, but a positive attitude can go a long way. Surround yourself with positive, supportive people who lift you up and help you stay focused on your goals.
Consistent communication is key to building strong relationships. Regularly touch base with your Customers and team Members to stay top of mind and show them that you care.
People can spot insincerity from a mile away. Be authentic in your interactions and let your true personality shine through. This will help you build trust and connect with people on a deeper level.
Show your Customers and team Members that you're there to help them solve problems and overcome challenges. This will position you as a valuable resource and help you build strong, lasting relationships.
When someone on your team achieves success, celebrate it! Take the time to acknowledge their hard work and show them that you're proud of them. This will help create a culture of positivity and encouragement within your team. Don't just focus on building relationships with your Customers and team Members - also work on expanding your network. Attend industry events, join networking groups and reach out to other professionals in your field to build new connections and expand your reach.
Lead by example:
Be a leader who inspires others to greatness. Lead by example, set high standards for yourself and your team and be willing to put in the hard work required to achieve success.
In conclusion, relationships are the key to growing your AIM business in 2023. By building strong connections with your Customers and leaders, fostering a culture of community within your team and staying positive and engaged, you can create a powerful network that will help you achieve success beyond your wildest dreams. So get out there, build those relationships and watch your business explode!
Once a year, a worldwide awareness day celebrates the planet we call home. Earth Day calls attention to the behavioral changes we humans have to make to help our home regain natural balance, not unlike improving our own bodies by making healthier choices. Our planet could definitely use our help. Unfortunately, the division about what needs to be done to take better care of our home is not helping. There is a difference of opinion that makes it even more difficult to get things done that could make a positive difference.
Judging by frequent catastrophic coastal erosion, fires, floods, mudslides, pollution, devastating storms, tornadoes, etc. in recent times, it’s as though personifying our planet might rename April 22 as Angry Earth Day.
Even the misinformation about the founding of this planetary day of awareness would anger the Earth.¹ Factually, it was the inspirational voice of Rachel Carlson in her 1962 book, Silent Spring, and the political voice of Senator Gaylord Nelson back in 1969 that would lead to the first Earth Day being celebrated in 1970. This annual event has continued for over a half a century to present day.
Here are some of the ways we can make a positive difference for the environment (and put the Earth in a better mood):
• reduce, reuse and recycle things you might simply toss in the garbage
• eat more plants and plant-based foods (to help save lives, alleviate hunger, reduce climate impacts and save water and agricultural land)
• shop with reusable bags
• choose sustainable products
• volunteer for environmental events and organizations
• learn more about natural resources and share your knowledge
• drive only when essential

Nutrition that works is a convenient way to stock up on whole-food powders and supplements that will be extremely useful to our bodies during challenging Earth times. Having accessible nutrition on hand means being prepared for a worstcase scenario.
The prime ingredient in BarleyLife is green, young, barley grass grown in nutrient-rich soil using crop rotations. Sequential planting of different crops over the area of a plot of land enhances farming in several ways.
Crop rotation is good for the environment because it reduces soil erosion and greenhouse gas emissions from the soil. This methodology also improves the soil’s biodiversity and increases nutrient concentration in the earth for crop intake.
Optimal soil health for barley plants ensures optimal nutrition from each leaf turned into juice powder using proprietary cold-processed technology. Delivering wholesome, high-quality nutritional products has always been a part of AIM’s mission.
Taking BarleyLife regularly is especially good for your body environment. The abundant nutrition present in barley leaves is natural just like your body. The juice powder’s balanced amounts of antioxidants, chlorophyll, enzymes, minerals, phytonutrients and vitamins are accepted by your body as first-rate fuel to keep your trillions of cells healthy. That’s the power of nutrition that works.
Green days of BarleyLife significantly increase your plant-based food intake from a dense blend of nutrients and phytonutrients. Taking these greens increases your body’s energy
levels so that you feel more energized on a daily basis. Barley leaf juice powder also has a strong alkalizing effect that helps maintain your body’s acid-alkaline balance, which is a major factor for remaining in good health.¹
The options for including barley leaf juice powder in your daily dietary intake make it easy to find something that suits your taste.
In addition to BarleyLife powder in canisters and individual servings in sample packs, there’s the naturally sweet taste of BarleyLife Xtra with 18 fruit and vegetable powders. And you have two choices of Xtra flavor to choose from: apple-cherry or pineapple (special edition).
As an option to serving yourself any of the BarleyLife powders dry or in beverages, you have the choice of encapsulating your green days. You get BarleyLife nutrition going directly to your stomach via capsules that dissolve and release its easily assimilated, nutrient-dense greens.
Anyone can create green days of good health from the choices in the BarleyLife family.
If you get confused about probiotics and prebiotics, you are not alone. It’s easy to mix up these terms. The important thing to remember is that both are essential for the health of your body.
To be clear, probiotics are supplemental good bacteria that maintain balance of your body’s microbe population, whereas prebiotics feed these good bacteria. It’s easy to remember that the “e” in prebiotics is for eat. And the three types of prebiotics in Fit ’n Fiber happen to be food that good bacteria eat and thrive on.
The acacia tree (Senegalia senegal) secretes a gum that has been used for thousands of years in African-Middle Eastern countries as traditional medicine, especially for stomach ailments. Acacia
gum is a polysaccharide made primarily of arabinose and galactose, a carbohydrate combination of two monosaccharide sugars that provides soluble fiber.
A study featured online at the National Library of Medicine (July 2021) showed how acacia gum can manipulate the gut microbiota. It ferments in the colon and promotes the proliferation of specific good bacteria that play a role in changing intestinal pH to inhibit the pathogenic bacteria that can cause an imbalance in the gut (dysbiosis).1
Along with modulating good bacterial growth, acacia gum fuels good bacteria to produce short-chain fatty acids that maintain gut pH levels and provide body energy.
The tubers of the konjac plant (Amorphophallus konjac), which are called elephant yams, have been used as both food and traditional medicine for centuries in Asia. The prebiotic fiber in konjac tubers is known as glucomannan, a polysaccharide comprised of lucose and mannose.
Glucomannan forms a viscous, fermentable fiber that feeds good bacteria, supporting their actions for maintaining good health. Some of the beneficial results of glucomannan revealed through human
studies include boosting the growth of good bacteria, promoting weight loss and generating short-chain fatty acids.2
As a main source of energy for the human body, butyric acid is one of the short-chain fatty acids that is produced from the bacterial fermentation of glucomannan.
The seeds of the plant contain tissue made up of galactose and mannose, creating a polysaccharide that becomes gel-forming fiber when ingested. Good bacteria in your microbiota feast on this soluble fiber from guar gum.
A study published in Nutrients (May 2020) showed that guar gum improved both the composition and function of the microbiota. The results included increased growth of beneficial bacterial species, reduced presence of harmful bacteria and improved intestinal wellbeing and bowel function.3
The guar plant (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) is an edible legume that is also valuable for crop rotation, given its symbiotic relationship with the nitrogenfixing bacteria in soil.
Among the Fit ’n Fiber mix of beneficial fiber and herbs, one serving delivers 8 grams of prebiotic f ood for good bacteria and the ones you add to your microbiota when taking the probiotics in FloraFood.
(See page 12 for more about probiotics.)
I can clearly remember the breathless feeling of walking up to the podium the night we were inducted into AIM’s Chairman’s Club in 2003 in Hawaii –and that’s 20 years ago! My opening comments were: “Generally speaking, Bill is generally speaking” and at that point I was relieved of the microphone and it was safely held for me by the General Manager – just in case.
I joined AIM in April 1998, with Bill’s great encouragement, so this month is our 25th AIM anniversary alongside our 53rd wedding anniversary.
Our sponsor introduced me to Renewed Balance Body Cream, which gave me the support I needed all those years ago. After joining AIM and experiencing the benefits myself, it was easy to talk about the many wonderful products Bill and I were using that helped to support our immune systems. We truly are our own best customers, as between us we regularly use 20 products, and others as needed.
It wasn’t without a lot of effort that my downline grew so fast.
The foundational principal we used in those days was USSBT . . . which still works today.
U se the products
S hare the products
S ponsor others
B uild strong relationships
T each others to do the same
I have always been a great believer in collecting “points” for rewards and AIM suits this need of mine right down to the 6th level! The table below shows the dramatic effect that sustained sponsoring can have on a business. And each Member in one’s network has a product ordering potential linked to points that will grow income. Even those who join as an AIM Customer just to get their products at a better price add to the Group Volume Points.
Note the difference between sponsoring two people who each sponsor two people down to the 6th level. Or sponsoring 5 people who each sponsor 5 people etc. down to the 6th level. Now if each person actually did do this type of sponsoring, the difference in the numbers is phenomenal. It’s certainly worth giving it a shot!
Sponsoring involves being responsible in a way for your downline Members. Answer questions, motivate them, hold meetings and congratulate them at each stage as they climb the AIM ladder.
When I joined AIM in 1998, I was involved with other network marketing businesses, and it was when my AIM income (checks in those days) were really noteworthy, that the decision was made to concentrate all my efforts on AIM. I was told that “you can’t ride two horses at once” and that sure resonated!
At the ripe old age of 73, I envy those who have IT skills, as the possibilities are endless. In the good old days, we had to have a fax machine to receive our genealogy, and then it was only permitted once we qualified as a Director. There was no information at our fingertips like the website offers
today. Now we have everything we need to run a business from home.
Our favorite products are the Garden Trio, Herbal Fiberblend capsules , CalciAIM, FloraFood, Peak Endurance, Proancynol 2000 and now—to turn the clock back somewhat—BioVivify!
In this business I have made lifelong friends. I’ve met fascinating people. We’ve travelled to distant lands for AIM conferences. I’m so grateful for the AIM Head Office staff, whose help is phenomenal. I love the desire for constant improvement (kaizen) that co-owners Kay and Dennis Itami hold dear.
My most grateful thanks are to God for this amazing company, which has provided us with health and wealth and a motivation that has stood the test of time.
To sum it up, it is all about loving people. It’s about wanting to see them succeed in achieving health through the products and an income from the business. As they succeed with one’s help, one’s own business grows and is sustained through friendship and caring.
contains 28,800 mg of magnesium chloride in each bottle. Pouring the recommended 2 ounces into your bathwater adds 4,800 mg of this mineral to bathe in and experience its relaxing effects.
You don’t need a bathtub to benefit from Mag-nificence CWR. Simply apply it directly to your skin to absorb the magnesium it provides.
applying it topically to muscle cramps can help
Not everyone can go on vacations that allow them to luxuriate in tropical seas. Mag-nificence CWR provides a soothingly inexpensive alternative to distant, magnesium-rich seawater. This bath additive delivers the benefits from magnesium as you soak it in through your skin. With Mag-nificence CWR, bathing is like immersing yourself in a private tropical sea of topical magnesium.
A skin-deep study at the University of Queensland provided evidence that topical magnesium can permeate the skin, assisted by its mineral concentration and the length of exposure. One of the noteworthy elements of this research is that magnesium permeation is aided by the openings where hair grows, allowing this essential mineral to be further absorbed through the skin for use in the body.
bit.ly/MagnesiumPermeation
The magnesium chloride present in the world’s oceans is the most common form. When you are immersed in the sea, magnesium chloride is easily absorbed through your skin, making it the natural choice for Mag-nificence CWR.
The world has made it through one of the most isolating situations ever imaginable as a result of a virus. During the worst of the pandemic, social distancing became a way of life that meant being physically apart from family, friends, colleagues and everyone else.
Schools, organizations and businesses, including those of AIM Members, had to be managed primarily online, eliminating the personal touch of being physically present with other people.
Not everyone participates in the world of social media and online connecting, so the usual in-person conversations that many AIM independent distributors use for business building were suddenly not an option. Fortunately, normalcy has returned for the most part. Having to avoid people during the pandemic because they (or we) might be potentially contagious has pretty much become a thing of the past.
Being able to reclaim the power of togetherness shows us just how much we missed during the COVID-19 years, even though none of us needed such a devastating turn of events to remind us of the importance of our relationships.
The truth is that our well-being is connected to our bonds with other people. Those connections come in varying degrees of closeness. For example, family and friends that you love and care about, people you see on a regular basis at work and in the marketplace or those who are part of a group you join,
such as church, membership or political affiliations. And the longest-running study on the subject confirms the value of these relationships.
The Harvard Study of Adult Development launched in 1938 examined the connection of relationships to our mental and physical well-being. After 85 years, the results reveal that interpersonal relationships are a major factor in keeping people happy and healthy.1
Quality connections, whether with one person or many, impact our health and help us to live longer. But we have to cultivate and maintain those connections just like any living system that needs personal attention. Fortunately, being able to reclaim the power of togetherness allows us to do so.
Network marketing relies on connecting with other people. AIM Members have had their worlds widened through the relationships established by sharing nutrition that works to improve people’s health and wealth. It’s the AIM example of the power of togetherness.
Not all probiotic supplements deliver good bacteria that actually survive digestion, so the probiotics do not stick around to repopulate the microbiota. What goes in gets eliminated, and that’s waste on many levels!
The probiotics in FloraFood are different because they actually increase the presence of three beneficial species of good bacteria in your gut: Lactobacillus gasseri, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium longum. All three species have been found in infants, so FloraFood reintroduces naturally occurring bacteria into your microbiota.
When you take FloraFood, the good bacteria begin their journey through the gastrointestinal tract, which in cludes the passage through your stomach’s acidic environ ment. Research shows that Lactobacillus gasseri c survive these acidic condi tions for at least 90 min utes.
The journey continues into the small and large in testines, the walls of which are lined with tightly packed, hair-like structures called microvilli. Lactobacillus
gasseri have the ability to attach themselves to microvilli, which is where the purpose of the journey unfolds.
FloraFood probiotics are all about increasing the diversity and number of good bacteria by sticking around to become part of your microbe population. The addition of these beneficial microbes helps maintain balance in your microbiota, improving digestion, immunity and nutrient production, just to name a few positives about good bacteria.
Research continues to uncover health benefits of good bacteria in the microbiota. FloraFood helps to enhance this inner ecosystem of microbes. A prime example is that repopulating your gut with ts probiotics helps to promote intestinal pH balance, reating an environment in which he good bacteria thrive and the bacteria find it difficult to survive— another aspect of the FloraFood difference.
Just like you, good bacteria require the right kind of food to flourish in your body so that they can act like efficient health care assistants. The food of choice for these beneficial microbes is prebiotic fiber, so an ideal supplemental choice for you and your microbiome is the pairing of FloraFood probiotics and Fit ’n Fiber prebiotics. (See page 6 for more about prebiotics).
