We are a large family committed to using all of the AIM products. My brothers, Joe, Gene and Mike Schumacher, and my sister, Pat Sakaguchi, have used the AIM products since our mother, Teresa Schumacher, signed up as a Member in 1984. All sixteen of our children and all of our grandchildren also take this nutrition that works. In a conversation with my 38-year-old son, Kevin, he reflected on his health. Two years ago, he broke his back in an off-road vehicle accident. Thankfully, he was not paralyzed. We feel he recovered so quickly because his body was in such good shape nutritionally, having taken the AIM products since the age of two. My 49-year-old son, Kurt, related a similar story regarding his health. He has used the AIM products since he was thirteen. He is careful about what he eats and exercises regularly, feeling that his health is better than it was in his 20s. All of my children can relate similar stories.
My grandchildren are receiving health benefits from AIM as well. My nearly four-year-old granddaughter, Emma, begs for her CoCoa LeafGreens and BarleyLife. Her two-year-old brother, Alex, also drinks BarleyLife and Cocoa LeafGreens. Because we are vegan, we know it is important that they get good nutrition. Unquestionably, there are so many people in our downline whom I am sure can credit their good health in part to the AIM products. When considering the benefits for our entire AIM Family, we are so grateful to have had the finest products available for nearly four decades. There is more competition today than 40 years ago, but by comparison, AIM is still the best value for the money. We are also grateful for our devoted Members who have been with us through the years, sharing AIM with family and friends. We are here because of you. Love and Blessings, Toni Lund, AIM Chairman’s Club Director St. George, Utah

An AIM Family Matthew & Karen Miller Dundee, Ohio Most Members who join AIM do not intend to build businesses. At the same time, some are born entrepreneurs who end up finding that The AIM Companies™ is a perfect fit for their abilities and values. Such is the case with Matthew and Karen Miller in Dundee, Ohio. As a young girl, Karen always found ways to earn an income. She made hot pads to sell to neighbors and, before going to school, Karen made egg sandwiches to sell to the workers at her grandfather’s sawmill. With a love for horses, at the age of 13 she worked for a race farm after finishing her schoolwork.
Even though she had an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, Karen recently admitted, “I never even knew what the word entrepreneur meant until just a couple years ago.” Fortunately, Karen grew up in a family that used the AIM products, so it would be just a matter of time before she eventually found an ideal focus for her skills.

“Matt and I started our AIM business about two years after we were married,” Karen explained. “We grew up about six miles from each other.” Today, they live on the same road that Karen grew up on. Matthew has also been industrious from a young age, helping to build a variety of useful items in his father’s shop, working in construction with his grandfather and later in the pallet business. “I was working in a pallet shop when Karen and I got married,” Matthew explained, “After I quit there, I went
choices,” Matthew acknowledged. “My biggest concern is we want to do the business, but we don’t want to overdo it. All of a sudden, the kids are grown, we got a great business, but we didn’t spend the time with the kids that we should have.” Matthew added, “The goal that we have now is keeping our focus on AIM because that’s the business we want to do when we get older. That’s why we’re focusing on AIM more than on my timber business.”
AIM is way more than a business,” Karen affirmed. “We have really made a lot of friends. They are our family, and we love them very much. logging for my brother-in-law and then into the timber business for myself. With AIM, it really helps that I don’t have to push that end as hard and frees us up to have more family time and work the business together. That’s definitely a blessing.” Having an AIM home-based business allows Karen to be a stay-at-home mom and both parents to spend more quality time with their five children: Grace Elizabeth (13), MaLena Faith (10), Christian Matthew (8), Michelle Joy (6) and Brianna Dawn (3). At the same time, taking their AIM business to the level of becoming Chairman’s Club Directors while only in their late thirties has involved an incredible amount of diligence and effort. They work as a team to maintain a balance between business growth and family life. With Matthew being self-employed, he can adjust his schedule to help meet the demands of their AIM business. “Karen is so passionate about helping other people make healthier
“We can make our own hours, work when we want to work and take a vacation when we want,” Karen said. “If it weren’t for AIM, we wouldn’t be traveling as much. I don’t think we’ve taken just strictly a vacation that wasn’t AIMrelated. We’ve been to 12 Celebrations and we’ve always tried to add days to spend time in the surrounding area.” Their AIM journey is leading to the fulfillment of a dream Matthew and Karen shared even before they got married. “I have always lived on the same road we live on now,” Karen stated, “and we have plans of moving to Montana, Lord willing, in June.” Their house is presently under construction. “AIM is way more than a business,” Karen affirmed. “We have really made a lot of friends. They are our family, and we love them very much.” Their AIM Family congratulates Matthew and Karen on their inspiring achievements and wishes them continued success out west.

Frank and Bernadette Pickett in Port Huron, Michigan, answered AIM’s question, “Do you have what it takes?” Both are AIM Directors who do volunteer work at Christian communities in Port Huron, Michigan. Together, they have been adding their teaching skills to the joyful world of ballroom dancing for over 17 years. “We began taking dance lessons for fun while running our sewing machine business, which we closed in 2016 after 50 years of service,” Bernadette stated. “Today, we are still going strong.” Thirty-eight years ago, Frank and Bernadette were dealing with health issues. “When our chiropractor introduced us to the benefits of AIM’s barley leaf juice powder, we could see a big difference very quickly,” Bernadette said. “We became Members the year AIM introduced Herbal Fiberblend, a product that also helped to prepare me for the most emotional year of my life." “Our three daughters all got married within four months!” Bernadette exclaimed. “And my mother passed away on the wedding day of our youngest daughter. The AIM products gave me the strength to get through all the anxiety, excitement and emotions.” Nutrition that works continues to play an important role in helping the Picketts maintain good health. “We have used all of the AIM products off and on, and, on a daily basis, most regularly take the Garden Trio, AIMega, ProPeas and Frame Essentials—to keep our joints agile,” Bernadette clarified. “We are so thankful that God has blessed us for over 37 years with many excellent, healthy, energy-building AIM products that continue to build and restore our bodies.” Despite the ongoing pandemic, things are truly looking up. They recently found a church willing to host them, and now have several new couples taking lessons. “Churches often have separate men’s and women’s groups for activities, but not a couples group. Ballroom dancing is something that they can do together that strengthens their relationship,” Frank added. Testimonials should not be construed as representing results that everyone can achieve.

As soon as you sign up to order AIM products, the door is open for you to become an AIM independent distributor. This means that by telling other people about nutrition that works and encouraging them to make it a part of their lifestyles, you’re in business. The beauty of this opportunity is that all of the infrastructure is already in place to run an AIM business from the comfort of your home. You don’t need a retail space, inventory, insurance, staff or any other of the usual costs involved in starting up a business. What you need is an interest in good health and a passion for sharing AIM’s way of achieving it. This AIM opportunity even includes a free website: myaimstore.com, which provides you with a ready-made site and all of the resources needed to add your own personal touch. If you have ever wanted a business of your own, consider AIM. 7 3-LivingWellMag_MAR_2021.indd 7

Fuel for Staying Active We all need wholesome nutrition to remain energized and healthy. When you add exercise time to your daily activity, your body can use additional nutritional fuel. If exercise is a significant part of your lifestyle or it is something you plan to initiate, the nutrients in the Sports Pack can give your body just what it needs to fuel physical activity, including supplemental ATP, protein and dietary nitrate. Peak Endurance fuels you with the molecule your body requires to create energy: adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This dietary supplement also delivers six electrolytes, six B vitamins and vitamin C, all of which bolster a physically active lifestyle. ProPeas fuels muscle growth, function and recovery and boosts metabolism with supplemental protein from a vegetable source: peas. More often than not, a move to start exercising is motivated by a desire to maintain or reach a healthy weight. Pea protein supports this move. RediBeets fuels nitric oxide (NO) production with plant-based, dietary nitrate from beets. NO is a colorless gas that relaxes smooth muscle and blood vessels, improving circulation and oxygenation throughout the body. These benefits are particularly advantageous for exercising.
Surviving the COVID-19 storm has been hard for all of us.
Looking back, I firmly believe that AIM products have played a huge role in keeping my wife, Karen, and me healthy and on the go. If the world rights itself, I hope to go to Holland this September and be the first person over the age of 90 to do the World Triathlon Championship. AIM products, including those in the Sports Pack, have helped me in maintaining peak physical performance. For example, Peak Endurance supplements the adenosine triphosphate that runs the ATP cycle. This molecule makes the mitochondria perform and runs every muscle in your body, so it is very important not only for athletic performance but for life itself.

NutritionZONE It’s human nature to want to make choices that are beneficial and safe. At the same time, that isn’t always how the circumstances play out in the end. You can choose products that are promoted to be useful, but the only good thing about them turns out to be the packaging. On top of shallow appearances, the glut of available information these days on any given subject and related product makes it difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. Providing high-quality, whole-food powders and dietary supplements that people can trust has always been and will always be an AIM objective. The AIM Companies™ has achieved this level of excellence for nearly four decades by creating a safe and effective nutrition zone. Whether leafing through the pages of Living Well magazines and other literature or navigating the pages of the website, people can trust the AIM lineup of nutrition that works. Choose the leaf juice in BarleyLife, phytonutrient-rich LeafGreens or any other of AIM’s whole-food powders and you’re in the nutrition zone, where high-quality ingredients deliver an abundantly diverse concentration of beneficial nutrients. On top of AIM’s selections for whole-body balance, the nutrition zone includes dietary supplements for:

Lactobacillus gasseri happens to be one of the main species of good bacteria in your gastrointestinal tract. This means ingesting more of this specific strain eases the strain that these good bacteria are under to keep you healthy.
