New GinkgoSense — Mental Clarity Gets a Boost Reformulated GinkgoSense has arrived in Canada! This upgraded formula now has four additional natural ingredients that work even better in combination with Ginkgo biloba, lutein and zeaxanthin extracts. Let’s examine this new memory and vision health booster.

Key medicinal ingredients per daily recommended dose (2 vegan capsules):

• Standardized Ginkgo biloba extract (120 mg)

providing 24% flavone glucosides and 6 % terpene lactones • Lutein extract from marigold flower (10 mg) — an increase of 25 times the former amount • Zeaxanthin extract from marigold flower (500 mcg) — an increase of 28 times the former amount • Curcumin extract (150 mg) — not turmeric powder • Ashwagandha root (300 mg) — potent adaptogen • Ginger (50 mg) • Black pepper extract (10 mg)

Recommended use:

• Helps enhance cognitive function in adults • Provides antioxidants and helps support eye health in

conditions associated with sunlight damage, such as cataracts and age-related macular degeneration.

Key Benefits:

• Memory health - Ginkgo and ashwagandha

can help maintain memory, mental clarity and mental acuity. Ginkgo helps to improve blood flow to the extremities, in other words, better oxygen and nutrient supply to the brain cells. Ashwagandha may help body systems in adapting to stress, mood changes and lack of concentration. • Anti-inflammatory properties – Curcumin provides anti-inflammatory properties that may help in detoxifying the body and improve cognitive function. Black pepper promotes curcumin absorption. Together with ginger which is known for its antiinflammatory and digestive-aid properties, these three herbs work together to improve the overall effectiveness of the formula. • Healthy vision - lutein and zeaxanthin are essential carotenoids (with antioxidant properties) for protecting the retina of the eye from free radical damage and help to prevent age-related eye issues such as macular degeneration and cataracts Read the GinkgoSense datasheet available on www.theaimcompanies.com for more details.

Nutritional Essentials for Everyday Wellness

? ? ? ? ? ?

The revised Canadian Food Guide encourages Canadians to eat plenty of vegetables and fruits, whole-grain foods and protein-rich foods that are preferably plant-based. When life gets busy and stressful, we always struggle to find time to prepare nourishing meals with a variety of foods as recommended. Needless to say, our food is not the same as what it used to be. Modern farming practices encourage global food supply chains that not only result in foods being transported over great distances, but also lead to mass production of processed foods that contain only a small fraction of their original essential nutrients. Our bodies may still be malnourished even though we think we are eating healthy, balanced meals every day. Supplementation has become an essential health booster to help fill in our nutritional gaps, keep our body systems strong and in doing so, protect ourselves from illness. To maintain general good health and feel younger for longer, there are five exceptional AIM supplements for building a solid nutritional foundation for your body.

• Garden Trio – whole-food concentrate juice

powders of barley leaves, carrots and beets that provide high quality, natural sources of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants for everyday nutritional needs

• Proancynol 2000 – natural antioxidant blend to boost your immunity

• AIMega – essential fatty acids to help keep your brain sharp, your skin looking great and support healthy cardiovascular health

• FloraFood – a multi-strain probiotic to enhance your gut flora composition, promote immunity and improve your mood

• Herbal Fiberblend – a fibre-herbal supplement to clean and detoxify your inner body and promote regularity

Benefits of Supplementation: • Boost immune system • Improve skin and hair • Increase energy levels • Help maintain healthy weight and reduce cravings for sugars and fats • Regulate digestion and elimination • Reduce stress levels and promote better sleep quality • Promote mental clarity

Spring brings Blooms and Sneezes:

Managing Seasonal Allergies

Spring means the welcome rebirth of all the greenery and blooms after winter, but for more and more of us, it also means sneezing, congestion, a runny nose and a host of other symptoms. Seasonal allergies — also called hay fever and allergic rhinitis — can truly impact the quality of your life. The following are some tips for managing these symptoms and helping you or your loved ones to be able to enjoy the upsides of this season with fewer of the downsides. The first tip is to reduce your exposure to things that trigger your symptoms. For instance, the best time to go outside, allergywise, is just after a good rain as the worst of the pollen will have been cleared from the air, and the worst time is on dry, windy mornings when pollen is at its highest level, having been thoroughly dispersed. If you do have to spend time outside on such days as these, change out of your outside clothes once home and take a shower to rinse pollen from your hair and skin. When you’re inside, you can minimize further exposure to allergens by making use of high-efficiency filters in your forcedair heating and cooling systems, and vacuuming the floors and soft furnishing frequently with a HEPA-filter vacuum. Allergies expert Max Wiseberg recommends taking simple steps to avoid allergy triggers. Keep bedroom windows closed during the day to avoid pollen from blowing in and being deposited on the bed. Pollen and other environmental irritants settle in the hair, so if yours is long, keep it away from eye and nose membranes, which are particularly sensitive.

Of course, how well you manage your seasonal allergies also depends on what you do and do not ingest. For instance, Wiseberg recommends avoiding alcohol as it contains the same chemical, histamine, that your body produces when it encounters something you’re allergic to. Herbalist Robin Rose Bennett suggests eating flowers rich in pollen during the season you have your allergic reactions. For instance in spring, add young dandelions to your salads, and in summer, yarrow. She suggests that doing so helps your body to learn to process them, like an inoculation, rather than reacting to them as antigens. AIM offers an excellent range of supplements to help make the allergy season more manageable.

On December 12, 2019, Muriel McPherson, Chairman’s Club Director, travelled to Midland, Ontario, to help Lora Wishart, Preferred Member, set up a display of AIM products at a Christmas bazaar held at the school where Lora teaches. Lora is a new business builder and is avidly sharing the AIM products. This opportunity helped her make several contacts, sell products, and have a fun learning experience. Lora’s son, Gibb who enjoys taking Peak Endurance and FloraFood, also came to help. Lora appreciates all the help she received through the AIM Academy in educating herself about the products and business opportunity. She finds the Chrysalis program very informative as well. All in all, she has developed a thirst for knowledge so that she can be proactive with her family’s health. Her energy and stamina have improved from taking the AIM products as she teaches and cares for her active family members. Although she has always taken a green juice, she stated that, “With BarleyLife, you can taste the quality!” Lora thanks AIM and Muriel for providing quality products and knowledge towards good health.
