THE TASK FORCE REPORT In the following pages, the Task Force puts forward 44 concrete solutions for new policies, practices, and priorities that can be implemented by the U.S. government, financial industry, art world, and international community. These specific steps are meant first and foremost to strengthen the United States’ national security and economic integrity. They will also help the American art market to protect itself from being an unknowing accomplice to money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations, tax evasion, fraud, forgery, and other related crimes.
