ARBUTUS ADULT HOCKEY LEAGUE (AAHL)

The Arbutus Adult Hockey League (AAHL) is a fun, fastpaced, competitive, non-contact adult league that runs from September to April. There are nine teams plus the Senators in the AAHL League. The skill level of players is intermediate to high, most with an extensive hockey background. The Senators team is for players of all ages who feel that the intensity and pace of the current AAHL is above their desired level of play.

All players are required to wear full hockey gear. The league’s CARHA insurance policy requires that players must wear a helmet and a minimum half shield with a mouth guard. Players who wear a full cage are not required to wear a mouth guard.

For more info about this league, contact Toby Treweeke, AAHL Committee Chair, at aahlprez@gmail.com.

TOTEMS HOCKEY

Totems hockey is fun non-contact, no slap shot, adult hockey league for players 45 years and older. Games are played on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:3011:00pm. Socializing after the games is sometimes the best part of the evening, and verbal slap shots and body checks are then allowed.

For more information about this league, contact Jay Sujir, Totems Committee Chair, at jsujir@farris.com.
