The Art of IMAGINATION

I am Michelle Drummond (nee Skinner) a self taught, creative digital designer from Palmerston North, New Zealand. The majority of my art work is created from digital resources (either purchased or photographed by me) with the help of a graphic tablet and Photoshop. I begin by conceptualizing each piece of art, then design interesting and enchanting Art Story pieces that feature my twin boys. My art work gravitates toward a combination of fantasy and surrealism with a dash of whimsical magic thrown in, to transform a fantasy world into real life. Where the boys are in cosplay outfits, I have made these along with wigs, accessories, facial hair and finished with makeup. The best part is photographing the boys then creating Art Story pieces of their adventures.
