The Gold Coast dramatically grew after 1957 and artists capture the growth of the beach culture and high rise landscape as well as the ecological richness of the hinterland. Featuring works by Margaret Olley, Vida Arrowsmith, Donald Friend, Betty Quelhurst, Scott Redford, William Robinson, Albert Tucker, Fred Williams and Anne Zahalka. A collection of souvenirs also reveals how the Gold Coast was imaged for the tourist market.
