AUSTRALIAN MOVIE PORTRAITS If you love movies, you’ll love Starstruck, a collection of striking portraits emerging from 100 years of Australian movies. Many items will be seen for the very first time, including rare film posters, 1930s scrapbooks of aspiring actors, and original costumes from iconic movies such as Picnic at Hanging Rock, My Brilliant Career and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
2 Mar–28 Apr, Free Starstruck: Australian Movie Portraits was made possible through the collaboration of the National Portrait Gallery and National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) and is supported by exhibition partner Showcast. This exhibition is supported by the National Collecting Institutions Touring and Outreach Program, an Australian Government program aiming to improve access to the national collections for all Australians.

In conjunction with Gold Coast Film Festival, Aaron will take the kids through technical lighting and camera set-up to produce head shots for willing subjects.
