elcome to Bass Performance Hall and our 2021-2022 Performing Arts Fort Worth season. On behalf of the Performing Arts Fort Worth staff and Board of Directors, I thank you for joining us. Get ready to travel back in time to an iconic cultural phenomenon with The British Invasion – Live On Stage. This immersive multimedia show places you front and center of pop culture history. Featuring an all-live band with huge projection period photos along with original film footage, the show focuses on British music that dominated the charts and airwaves, and in turn changed the very essence of pop culture. We know these last few years have felt like a Hard Day’s Night, but we hope this night out at the Hall will make you feel alright. The British Invasion – Live On Stage concludes our 2021-2022 BNSF Popular Entertainment Series. We look forward to celebrating 25 years of Bass Performance Hall in the 2022-2023 BNSF Popular Entertainment Series, which will be announced this summer. Our 2021-2022 Broadway at the Bass season continues this summer with a trio of hits: Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA! in June, followed by Jesus Christ Superstar and Mean Girls in July. Current 2021-2022 Broadway at the Bass Season Ticket Holders are now eligible to renew and keep their seats for the recently announced 2022-2023 Broadway at the Bass Season presented by PNC Bank. The season kicks off in November with the Lincoln Center Theater Production of Lerner & Loewe’s My Fair Lady, the classic musical sure to have you saying, “I Could Have Danced All Night.” Then in 2023, Pride Rock returns to Bass Hall as Disney’s The Lion King celebrates 20 years on tour; just in time for Valentine’s Day comes the new musical based on one of Hollywood’s most romantic love stories, Pretty Woman: The Musical; one of the most beloved musicals of all time, Annie, returns in a new production in the spring; Broadway’s funniest new musical will have you feeling “Unstoppable” when Tootsie takes the stage; and in June, the 2022-2023 season concludes with Hadestown, winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards® including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Returning to the Hall as a season add-on is Elf The Musical to ring in the holiday season. Season tickets can be renewed through May 31, and new season tickets can be purchased beginning July 12 online and by phone. Renewing or joining the waitlist online is the quickest and easiest way to secure season tickets. SYNOPSIS The British Invasion – Live on Stage will showcase the music and how it impacted art, fashion, literature, changing the very essence of pop culture and redirecting history. The show will focus on British music that dominated the charts and the airwaves with songs from the Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield, the Hollies, the Animals, the Kinks, and dozens more groundbreaking acts. The show features the fresh new sounds that crashed onto America’s shores and upended culture forevermore.


WHO’S WHO BRITTNEYANN ACCETTA (she/her) is an actor, songwriter and musician from New York City. You may have seen her in The Office! A Musical Parody on OffBroadway at the Jerry Orbach theater, or Aladdin! A Musical Spectacular aboard the Disney Fantasy cruise ship. When she is not performing in musicals, she is playing with her band at venues all over New York and the tri-state area. Brittneyann fell in love with every aspect of music at a very young age, and she plays 7 instruments. She has a deep appreciation for the power of Arts and Music, and lives for letting her whole heart and soul flow through every performance. She is extremely grateful and excited to be a part of The British Invasion, and would like to thank the creative team for believing in her, and her family and friends for all of their love and unending support! JONAH BOBO is an NYC based musician and theatre artist who is extremely passionate about both live performance and studio production. He is a multiinstrumentalist and producer as well as a recording artist, working with artists in New York and across the nation. As a composer, his theatrical work has been awarded distinctions by the Richard Rodgers Award Foundation and the Eugene O’Neill National Theatre Center.

TEDDY GREY is a New York-based actor, writer, and singer/songwriter. His new double concept album, The Great Failed Romances of the Twentieth Century, is available now to stream and purchase everywhere via Mother West Records. Notable work includes writing, directing, and starring in the YouTube cult musical Garfeld: the Musical (A Garfield Parody), and acting in WildBrain’s YouTube Kids series The Ellie Sparkles Show as Jimmy. Favorite roles include Johnny in American Idiot, Elyot in Private Lives, and Narrator/Mysterious Man in Into the Woods. He is a graduate of Hofstra University. Special thanks to his family and friends TANNER HAKE made his professional debut in The Bridges of Madison County playing Michael Johnson, at the Marriott Theatre in Chicago. He has also been seen in Millikin University’s Productions of Medea (Jason), Nice Work If You Can Get It (Jimmy Winters) and two original plays, The Wall, and Miss Me, written by Paul Schoulberg. Tanner has recently worked primarily in LA on Film and TV projects ranging from people and brands such as Damien Chazzelle, Gucci, Amazon Prime & HBO. Tanner has also been active with music his entire life and has recently written the soundtrack for the short film ‘Baby Powder’ with 3Ball Media in Los Angeles. He would like to thank his family & friends for their continued support throughout his career.


WHO’S WHO BILLY HARRINGTON From Ann Arbor, Michigan, Billy Harrington is a full-time session drummer keeping busy with recording sessions and live work. With a bachelors in the Musical Arts & Jazz Studies from the University of Michigan, he has lectured on early pop drumming and most extensively on the drumming of Ringo Starr, including for the university’s symposium celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and as a featured artist in the Oxford University Press textbook, What Goes On: The Beatles, Their Music and Their Time. As producer, his own shows, A Night For James: A Tribute to the Music of James Taylor, and Lennon & McCartney tribute All Together Now debuted in 2015 and 2016. More recently in 2019, Billy’s research on the drums of Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham with Roxy Music drummer Paul Thompson was published in Modern Drummer magazine. His most recent stage credits include Always… Patsy Cline and Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Encore Musical Theatre Company 2021). Billy is so excited and honored to be on stage with this fab cast and production team paying tribute to one of pop music’s greatest eras. MARTÍN MARTIARENA (Billy/ musical director) is an award-winning musical director from San Diego, California. A graduate from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, he received his BA

in 2018 with a degree in Jazz Performance. There he studied with legendary Jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell and pianist Tamir Hendelman. Recent favorite theater credits as bassist include Rock of Ages (Cygnet Theater), On Your Feet (Moonlight Theater Productions), Mamma Mia (Welk Resort Theater), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Welk Resort Theater). Martín is the current director of the guitar department at Chula Vista Middle and High Schools. In his free time, Martín leads The Rollers, a California-based Beatles cover band. SHANNON MCELDOWNEY (she/ her) Shannon cannot wait to share this incredible music with you. Originally from a small town outside Seattle, Shannon is an actor and activist living in Chicago. Some of her favorite projects include John Denver’s Almost Heaven (Theatre at the Center), Welcome to Jesus (American Theatre Company/Chicago Inclusion Project), Death and Harry Houdini (The House Theatre of Chicago/Arsht Center Miami), Mamma Mia (Drury Lane Oakbrook), and Disaster (Chicago Theatre Workshop). In 2018, she was nominated for Best Lead Actor at the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival for her work in TRU. In this NAMI-sponsored musical about mental health, she played artist Isla Claire, a role that she reprised the following year at Chicago’s Stage 773. QUATRO ENTERTAINMENT (Producers) Quatro Entertainment produces live entertainment and promotes national Broadway touring shows. Recent Broadway touring shows include: Dirty Dancing, Kinky Boots, Rock of Ages and The Illusionists. DEAN ELLIOTT (Show Director, Musical Supervisor) Dean Elliott rose to fame as the lead role of Buddy Holly in the Olivier Award nominated musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story. In this role he had the honour of opening the 2008 West End Revival at the Duchess Theatre, London, West End and after much media praise was asked to open and perform in the show in Buddy’s hometown of Lubbock, Texas, in front, and with, Buddy’s immediate family before taking the role around Europe and Canada. Before ‘Buddy’, Dean trained at the prestigious Sir Paul McCartney’s ‘Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts’ (LIPA) and other notable theatre work includes Over The Rainbow - The Eva Cassidy Story (UK No1 Tour), Release The Beat (Arcola Theatre, London) and the multi award winning Ed - The Musical (Edinburgh Festival). Notable TV and radio appearances include “Richard and Judy,” “BBC London Tonight,” “The Jonathan Ross Show” and BBC Radio 2’s “Elaine Paige Show.”
