2014 ANNUAL REPORT
THREE CORE
CONVICTIONS
1
THE CHURCH
OUGHT TO BE THE
MOST CREATIVE
PLACE ON THE PLANET.
There are ways of doing church that no one has thought of yet. If the Kingdom of God had departments, we’d work in Research and Development. NCC is a LAB where everything is an experiment. We’re orthodox in belief, but unorthodox in practice. We’re more afraid of missing opportunities than making mistakes. The genesis of our dream was a dare—a dare to do church differently. If you want to reach people no one is reaching, you have to do things no one is doing. Our church exists for those who have given up on church.

THE CHURCH
BELONGS IN THE MIDDLE
A church that stays within its four walls isn’t a church at all. We can’t go to church because we are the church. No one can worship God like us or for us—each of us is an invaluable and irreplaceable part of God’s plan. NCC is a DREAM FACTORY where people get a vision from God and go for it. We want to be part of the personal dream God has given you and we invite you to be part of the corporate dream God has given us. Good ideas are good, but God ideas change the course of history. Dream big. Pray hard. Think long.
OF THE MARKETPLACE.
GOD WILL BLESS
OUR CHURCH IN PROPORTION TO HOW WE
GIVE TO MISSIONS
AND CARE FOR
THE POOR IN OUR CITY.
If we’re going to be great at anything, we want to be great at the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. We want to be more known for what we’re for than what we’re against. The church is not a noun. It’s a verb, an action verb. Our MO is: Go. Set. Ready. Whatever God has called us to do, we’re going to do it big, do it right, and do it now. We work like it depends on us and pray like it depends on God. We love people when they least expect it and least deserve it. We ultimately exist to make the name of Jesus famous in our generation.

NOTE FROM PASTOR MARK 2013 was a milestone year! We had a record number of mission teams, showing the love of Christ in very practical ways. We baptized a record number of people. And we invested a record $1.8 million in a variety of Kingdom causes all around the world. I’ve never been more grateful or more excited about what God is doing at NCC, and the best is yet to come! We are going to keep
dreaming big, praying hard, and thinking long. Thanks for being a part of the story God is writing at NCC, and for the privilege of being part of the story He is writing through your life.
