BOX OFFICE OPENING HOURS: Closed Mondays (open on performance days). Tuesday to Friday 10am – 4pm. Saturdays 12 – 4pm (8pm on performance days). Sundays and bank holidays open 1 hour before the performance. CONCESSIONS Concessions for OAP’s, Students, Unwaged, and children are available for some productions. The availability, amount discounted, and production applicable to is decided on by each individual producer and not the Theatre Royal. Where family tickets are available the group must consist of two adults and two children. I.D. for all concessions will be requested at time of booking or at time of collection.

DISCOUNTS FOR GROUPS Group bookings are available for shows at the Theatre Royal. Contact the Box Office for further information. Groups of 10 or more are entitled to at least 10% discount, depending on the production. ACCESS The Theatre Royal is an accessible venue with ramp access, loop induction, wheelchair seats and adapted toilets. We would ask wheelchair users to book directly with the box office rather than online to ensure that we facilitate you. REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase except in the event of a cancellation by the venue or producers. THEATRE ROYAL BAR Why not relax and enjoy a pre-show drink. Select wines, soft drinks, bottled beers, tea and coffee are available from 7pm on performance evenings. The bar will be closed during the performance and patrons may not return until the interval. You can also pre-order your interval drink before the show which will be ready for collection in the vestibule at the interval. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Author and script writer Dave Duggan in conversation with Kieran Grimes in the Theatre Royal. Born in London and raised in Waterford, Dave Duggan is a full time writer and director. His film and television work includes the Oscar nominated DANCE LEXIE DANCE. His second novel is A SUDDEN SUN. Kieran Grimes regularly writes storylines for FAIR CITY. The New Music Big Band is a 16 piece ensemble playing the music of Irish arrangers and composers. Father Tim Farley is highly popular with his parishioners due to his charm, wit, easy-going manner, and entertaining (but unchallenging) sermons. One Sunday, seminarian Mark Dolson interrupts Farley’s sermon to challenge his stance on the ordination of women. The pastor is outraged and intrigued by the young man, and asks to have him assigned to work with him. Dolson is a firebrand eager to change the Church and feels it’s his job to shake parishioners out of their complacency. Farley likes Dolson, but sees that he’ll never succeed as a priest if all he does is irritate people and make enemies. Each man has something to teach the other about how to perform his priestly duties.

an evening of american & irish choral music Benefit Concert for the Waterford Healing Arts Trust on Tuesday June 4 at the Theatre Royal by the Greeley Chorale.

45 singers from Greeley, Colorado, USA are embarking on a musical journey to Ireland to share the gift and joy of choral music while supporting local charities. The community chorus will be performing in Waterford where the concert on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the magnificent Theatre Royal is one, if not the highlight of the performance tour. In the spirit of the Gathering 2013, the singers - many of whom have Irish roots - hope to bring joy with an hour long concert celebrating choral music from the old and the new world. All proceeds from ticket sales will be given to the Waterford Healing Arts Trust. The choir is travelling with an entourage of family and friends, bringing the total group to almost 100. Tuesday 4 June: 8pm – €25

Irish music group FullSet have achieved phenomenal success both in Ireland and abroad since the release of their award winning debut album, Notes at Liberty. Noted for their high energy performances, the band was awarded the RTE/RAAP Breakthrough Annual Music Bursary. This coupled with “Best new group of 2012” from Irish American News as well as “Best Newcomer 2012” in the Live Ireland Awards has led to a heavy tour schedule with the group headlining some of the largest folk music festivals in both Europe and the USA along with a string of television and radio appearances including the RTE Late Late Show and Fox News. FullSet’s eagerly awaited second album is due for release mid 2013 Saturday 8 June: 8pm

KEVIN O’CARROLL’S PRIMARY SCHOOLS ORCHESTRAL CONCERT SERIES Following the success of last year’s event which attracted almost 3,000 children Kevin O’Carroll Music is delighted to present the second programme in the Primary Schools Orchestral Concert series. This year’s featured family of the orchestra is the percussion section. This is the section that includes drums, timpani but also uses bells, whistles and much more! Tuesday 13 and Friday 14 June
