CONCESSIONS Concessions for OAP’s, Students, Unwaged, and children are available for some productions. The availability, amount discounted, and production applicable to is decided on by each individual producer and not the Theatre Royal. Where family tickets are available the group must consist of two adults and two children. I.D. for all concessions will be requested at time of booking or at time of collection. WIT students are entitled to a special WIT price on most shows on presentation of their card.

DISCOUNTS FOR GROUPS Group bookings are available for shows at the Theatre Royal. Contact the Box Office for further information. Groups of 10 or more are entitled to at least 10% discount, depending on the production. ACCESS The Theatre Royal is an accessible venue with ramp access, loop induction, wheelchair seats and adapted toilets. We would ask wheelchair users to book directly with the box office rather than online to ensure that we accommodate you appropriately. REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase except in the event of a cancellation by the venue or producers. THEATRE ROYAL BAR Why not relax and enjoy a pre-show drink. Select wines, soft drinks, bottled beers, tea and coffee are available from 7pm on performance evenings. The bar will be closed during the performance and patrons may not return until the interval. You can also pre-order your interval drink before the show which will be ready for collection in the vestibule at the interval. THEATRE ROYAL CAFE Open all week for homemade treats and the finest view on The Mall. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Alan Barton, former frontman of Smokie tragically died on 23 March 1995 as a result of an accident. In 2008, his son Dean Barton reunited with Alan's song writing partner, Andy Whelan, to complete his finished second solo album and Room With A View was born!

The sixth annual GIY Gathering is for food lovers and food growers everywhere, with over 300 people coming together to learn, think and talk about food. This year’s event will feature talks, discussions and demos over two days linked by the Healthy Soil, Healthy People theme. THE LEGEND OF LUKE KELLY

On 30th January 1984, the whole of Ireland grieved the early death of Dubliner legend Luke Kelly. He has left an indelible mark as being the greatest folk Irish artist of the 20th Century and his music is widely regarded as one of Ireland's cultural treasures. Dublin singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Chris Kavanagh was born and raised on Irish music and has been singing Irish folk songs since he was three years old.

FLANN’S YER ONLY MAN

Based on the life and work of Flann O’Brien, aka Myles na Gopaleen, aka Brian O’Nolan (1911-1966), who is widely regarded as Ireland’s finest satirist since Jonathan Swift. Val O’Donnell re-enacts a wide range of extracts from the humorist’s novels and his celebrated Cruiskeen Lawn column in the Irish Times. Flann’s Yer Only Man was first performed in the Palace Bar, Fleet St., Dublin on 5 October, 2011, the centenary of the writer’s birth.

HARLEM GOSPEL CHOIR Having performed for Nelson Mandela, the Pope in Central Park, The Chieftains and U2, the Harlem Gospel Choir return to Ireland for an extensive tour and their first visit to the Theatre Royal. The Choir draws its core singers from various black churches in the Harlem community, who share the common aim of bringing about a better understanding of African/American culture. Her brother Fritz breaks it but her Uncle mends it for her, and all too soon, it’s the end of the party and time for bed. Unable to sleep with the excitement, Clara goes downstairs to get her Nutcracker Doll and falls asleep under the Christmas Tree. The stroke of midnight sounds and the magic begins!
