Resident wants people to say no self-storage in port lands Leslieville resident Jamie Jennings said there’s much more potential for the port lands than big box self-storage warehouses.

Specifically, he’s concerned about two, five-storey facilities proposed for 300 and 440 Commissioners St. “(The port lands) are just

The Danforth Business Improvement Area (BIA) is working alongside the City of Toronto to host a full evening of festivities including the arrival of the Pan Am flame and the lighting of the community cauldron at 7 p.m., followed by the inaugural lighting of the upper part of historic bridge’s Luminous Veil structure at 10 p.m. “We’re very excited about July the 4th,” said Terry Nicholson, director, arts and culture services for the City of Toronto. “Everyone involved in this project has gone above and beyond the call of duty because they believe in it so much.
