Water main work starts on Dundas The water main as well as the city-owned portion of substandard water services on Dundas Street East from Greenwood Avenue to Woodfield Road is being replaced. The water service is the underground pipe that brings water to water meters. It is owned by both homeowners and the City of Toronto. Homeowners own the portion that runs from their house to the end of their property, while the city owns the part from the end of the private property to the water main. This project is part of the Toronto City Council-approved 2015 Capital Works Program
