The grand celebration of International Day of Peace was held on 21st Sept, 2021 in which Mr. Ahmad Alhandawi, Secretary General WOSM greeted the members of BSG and motivated the Youth of the Country with his video recorded speech. Shri P.G. R. Sindhia, Secretary General, President in Council, Shri K.P . Mishra, Vice President, BSG, Shri J.C. Mohanty, International Commissioner (S), Shri Madhusudan Avala, Dy. International Commissioner (S) and Mrs. Amelia Swer, International Commissioner (G) of the Bharat Scouts and Guides blessed the youth and appreciated the initiative of NHQ on Peace activities. Shri Raj Kumar Kaushik, Director BSG in his closing remarks expressed his gratitude to World Scout Bureau for supporting BSG in organising World Scout Programme WebinarforthebenetofScouts/Guides.

Bharat Scouts and Guides, India organized a virtual celebration of National Youth Day as “National Youth Fest 2022” on 12th January 2022 in which more than 500 young people took part via Zoom and through the ofcial YouTube Channel of BSG. The Chief Guest virtually inaugurated the event and blessed the participants. He highlightedthe ethics of Swami Vivekananda and reminded the youth about Swamiji’s Speech at Chicago – “Youth is the power of the Nation.” He expected the young people to be physically t, mentally strong andshouldhavegoodcondenceinthem.
A Patanjali Yogpeeth and National Yogasana sport Federation, supported by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India has organized “750 million Suryanamaskars” Project where yoga enthusiasts from across the world were invited to perform a total of over 750 million Suryanamaskars. As a part of this initiative, live demonstration of Surya Namaskar was shown by Team Yoga with BSG in which the 12 basic asanas of Suryanamaskar were demonstrated to the participants to make them learn about the poses. On the initiative of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India for the launch of Clean India Project, National Headquarters of the Bharat Scouts and Guides has organized Clean India Project starting from Unit to National levels. Cleaning of Statues, ponds, rivers, railway tracks, etc. were the primary targets of young people who amidst this covid pandemic became the frontline warriors in not only ghting covid 19 but also also initiating these initiatives of the Bharat Scouts and Guides for creating a better world and for bringing about a change.
