create awareness namely Competition – 01 “Regional Level Virtual Competition on Poster Making” with the theme - Advocate for stop Plastic Pollution and Competition – 02 “Regional Level virtual competition on Substitutes of plastic” with theme Advocate for 0% plastic use in the same line of National Level Competitions. 85 members registered for the competitions and participated in the webinar. The webinar was inaugurated on 31st January 2022 by the Jt. Director of Guides (Programme&Training)ofBSG-India.

Regional Level Webinar on BSG - Digital Smart Generation, Surf Smart 2.0 was conducted on 11th March 2022. The webinar was inaugurated by the State Secretary of Meghalaya State BSG Mr. W. Lyngdow. Ms. Darshana Pawaskar, Jt. Director of Guides (Programme and Training) graced the occasion and blessed the youth and motivated them to create a Smart Digital India. The Team Members of BSG-DSG handled all the sessions very effectively under the guidance of the Project Coordinator Ms. Madhu Shree K. S., Project Coordinator, BSG - Digital Smart Generation, Surf Smart 2.0, NHQ. The programme was conducted by Ms. Ankita Pandey of N. F. Railway. The webinars have been conducted under the leadership of Shri Analendra Sarma, Assistant Director, and NER-BSG. About 100+ members participated from the regionalstatesthroughZoom.

Southernregion

Community Development Workshop was conducted virtually from 15th to 17th of April 2021 in which 66 participants from 08 States attended. Shri M.A. Khalid, Addl. Chief National Commissioner inaugurated the Workshop. Plastic Tide Turner’s Workshop was conducted virtually on 7th May, 2021 in which 70 BSG Members joined and got motivatedduringtheWorkshop.

Talent Show was conducted virtual during the month of May, 2021 in which 397 members registered for the talent show. Shri P.G.R. Sindhia, Secretary General, President-in-council Bharat Scouts and Guides & State Chief Commissioner was the Chief Guest. Workshop on Messengers of Peace (MoP) for the Unit Leaders was conducted Virtually on 31st May, 2021 in which 358 Members registeredfortheMessengersofPeace.

Southern Region Headquarters conducted an Environment Project ‘Scouts Go Solar’ Workshop from 3rd to 5th June, 2021. Shri Srinivasappa, General Manager, Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd. (KREDL) was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the workshop. Campre Carnival 2.0 was conducted Virtual on 15th June, on 5th July and 15th August 2021 in which 125 Members registered from 6 states attended. Shri Chinaveerbhadrudu, SCC, Andhra Pradesh and Director of School Education inaugurated the Carnival.

Virtual meeting for FBM/ABC Coordinators & Trainers was conducted on 14th May 2021. The Virtual Regional Level Youth Colloquium was conducted from 28th to 30th July 2021. 6 states attended. Dr. R. Elangovan, SCC, Tamilnadu and National Advisor (Growth) BSG inaugurated the Colloquium. Smt. Kumud Mehra, Assistant Director, SouthernRegionwastheLeaderoftheCourse.
