“Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of it’s people, culture and achievements. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in it’s evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political and economic identity. The official journey of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” will end on 15th August, 2023. The members of the Bharat Scouts and Guides are contentiously celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava by organising Quiz, Essay writing, Drawing & Painting competition on the related topics. Cycle Rallies were also organised involving Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers and Unit Leaders with the Theme "Salam India" on 7th November, 2021 in different parts of the country. The participants marched in the main streets carrying National Flag, Tri-colour band etc. to create patriotism among the countryman. We hope that members of the Bharat Scouts and Guides at all levels will keep continue the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava till 15th August, 2023 and will play a constructive role in making good citizen for the country.
