Join us for an oenophile’s dream! This special wine dinner will feature some of the most historic and sought-after wineries in the global world of collectible wine, paired with a specially-designed tasting menu created for the occasion.
Bishop’s alumnus and certified sommelier Mike Hoagland ’03 will be your wine host and will share his vast knowledge about the wines and regions. Further, a discussion on the “architecture” of composing wine/food pairings, as well as insights into the global fine wine market and how one goes about “building a wine collection the right way” will be “on the menu” in a fun, intimate atmosphere.
Your dinner hosts, Julie Zures Turner ’95 and Court Turner (Owen ’25, Ben ’27), are opening their beautiful Rancho Santa Fe home for this extraordinary opportunity. Together with Mike, they will design an outdoor fine dining experience to pair with a selection of extremely rare and highly-allocated wines from the esteemed portfolio of Wilson Daniels.
More about Mike Hoagland: Mike is the vice president of private client services for Wilson Daniels and currently oversees the fine wine collector market as part of the senior executive team. Wilson Daniels, a fine wine importer with offices in Napa and New York has been in business since 1978 and is the exclusive importer of historic wine estates such as Biondi-Santi in Tuscany, Elvio Cogno in Barolo, Champagne Gosset, and the venerable Domaine Leflaive of Puligny-Montrachet and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti of Vosne-Romanée in Burgundy.

House #2: Casa Paz is a two-bedroom, two-bath house, with the same level of quality and comfort as Casa Serena.
