Spring into Style The weather’s getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and just like the seasons, some things never go out of style. While you’re probably sick of piling on all those layers that make you look like the Michelin Tire man, don’t throw those sweaters in the closet just yet! A classic look for the breezy days ahead are a collared shirt under a cozy sweater. For ladies, pair with tights and a pair of your favorite shorts or a skirt, and fellas, slap on a pair of your best slacks. You’ll be guaranteed to be comfortable from the chilly mornings all the way to the sunny afternoons while looking super fancy with minimal effort. If you want to spice up your look with something a little extra, a few simple makeup tricks will do just that! Neutral makeup can give you that all-natural look that magazines are obsessing over, but sweeping your liquid eyeliner out to a point just barely past your eye and using 1-2 coats of mascara will make anyone double-take and think “Woah, those are some baller lashes.” To give the illusion of false lashes, curl your eyelashes in between coats of mascara (be sure to let the previous coat dry first - this will prevent lashes from sticking together and you won’t get flakes in your eye to temporarily blind you). These effortless tricks and tips might give you a new twist on your wardrobe or inspire you to try something new with that old grandpa sweater you’ve had lying around until summer rolls in and they’ll just be a distant memory.

Color coordinate your lips with the quirky pattern on your dress to add something extra to your look. Top off with a flowy cardigan and some simple shoes and you’ll look perfect for a trip to a coffee shop or a night out with friends! Khaki’s match EVERYTHING...and if they don’t, work it anyway! These versatile pants are perfect for lounging around or dressing up for a special occasion. Use the sunglasses to let people know that your swag is blinding.

Long nights, hard work and dedication all went into the making of this year’s cabaret show, Shelf Life. From April 30 to May 2 at 7PM the cast and crew put on the spectacular cabaret show bringing many of people’s favorite books to life through song and dance. There were many new faces participating, greatly benefiting the cast. Participating in the show is open to singers, musicians and dancers alike who wish to showcase their talent in a fun filled environment. Sophomore Grace Potter said she became involved last year because “dance is a big part of my life and I thought I’d give it a try and ended up loving it. It’s become my favorite

Girls Soccer

The Grafton Girls Soccer team is back in action! Coming back from a successful previous season made for a very exciting start. The team kicked off the season with a victory over Plymouth, winning 1-0. “It’s always important to figure out how to play together and get back in the rhythm in the beginning of the season. We already have improved a lot from the first game,” said senior captain Kaleigh Wallock. With a conference like the North Shore, every Tuesday night is bound to be a tough game. “We are really focused on getting the team ready for the run at a trip to State. The tough competition in the conference only preps us for those games,” said senior captain Megan Otto. Watch the girls in action on Tuesday and Thursday nights!
