Thank you for leading the way in supporting Blake! Blake Fund gifts have already had an impact on students’ educational experience.
The Blake boys’ cross country team placed first in Section 3AA, and the girls’ team placed second, qualifying to race at the state meet.
Lower School art classes model an open studio concept with student-led demonstration stations, providing leadership opportunities while encouraging collaboration and creativity— critical skills that transcend the classroom.
More than 330 students receive need-based financial assistance.
Blake Fund gifts support more than 1,330 students and 290 employees, setting a strong foundation and allowing Blake to deliver on its key strengths.
Breakthrough Minneapolis at Blake classes are focusing on areas like socialemotional learning and leadership development, giving students opportunities to voice experiences and share advice through presentations to their peers.
Your 2023-24 Blake Fund gift is appreciated. Upper School science faculty Rebekah Johnson attended the Teaching Social Brains conference last spring, focusing on how the adolescent brain thrives on social connection. She learned about the importance of making her classroom feel like a community and incorporated techniques to engage the regions of the brain that are involved in understanding others, helping students feel connected at school.
