The BMF Employment Plus service has been tailored for BMF Members, both merchants and suppliers, and brings together a range of support packages that can make a real difference to HR in your company. The service is provided for BMF by employment law experts Russell HR Consulting.

How does BMF Employment Plus work? Once you sign up to BMF Employment Plus you will be initially contacted by your adviser to discuss the service. An audit questionnaire will then be emailed to you to obtain details for the content of your new company handbook and staff contracts of employment. This will subsequently be discussed over the phone. You will receive in electronic format or hard copy as agreed, a new or updated employment manual and personalised employment contracts as required.


BMF Employment Plus

As an option and at a negotiated additional cost, an on site full HR systems setup service will be available if you need your procedures to be set up from scratch as manual and/or electronic systems. Hands-on support will be available at additional cost in instances of serious employment dispute and for Employment Tribunal representation. We reserve the right to recommend that you take formal legal representation if it seems appropriate to do so. Employment Law training will be offered in conjunction with the BMF Training Department. Fees for such training will be negotiated separately. Support Telephone or email support during working hours (Monday – Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm) will be available throughout the duration of the contract period. Documents, either prepared for you or in template form, covering issues being discussed will be provided to you as necessary. You will receive progress calls at 2-3 month intervals to keep in contact. Documentation Your written procedures and documentation will be periodically up-dated with new regulatory requirements as applicable. Updates A regular BMF Employment Plus Newsletter will be sent to you, full of relevant advice. Training As a BMF Employment Plus Subscriber, you can enjoy preferential and discounted rates for BMF in-house training courses for your employees. This will ensure they have the skills to guard your business and develop their potential to the full.
