The TTF has had a high profile involvement in the development of the new European Timber regulations (EUTR) which come into force in March 2013. John Tebbit is responsible for technical and regulatory issues including the Construction Products Directive, building regs, environmental, and health and safety issues at the CPA. From July 2013 it will be mandatory for all products to be CE marked. This is the most significant change in a decade in the way construction products are sold in Europe and there are significant implications for merchants. ‘Raising the Bar in Management Training’ – Launch of the new BMF Foundation Degree. BMF selected the University as its partner to develop the new Merchanting Foundation Degree Course. Lesley is the Director of the department responsible for developing and running the Course. She is a National Teaching Fellow, a Florence Nightingale Scholar and a Churchill Fellow FRSA.
