The BMF Safetyfirst service doesn’t need to be expensive or complicated, but it does require your commitment if you are to gain the benefits it can bring. We will appoint one of our qualified advisors to your company and you will need to appoint an appropriate person from your company who will have day-to-day responsibility for working with your advisor and managing your Health and Safety obligations. Going forward you get all the help you need, including detailed assessment audit, a comprehensive report and advice on making necessary changes, plus updated Health & Safety publications and a rapid response service to answer your H & S concerns. Advice will cover both your premises and organisational issues.

What BMF Safetyfirst contains The Service will advise you about how to comply with your legal and practical Health and Safety obligations. This will comprise of: • A dedicated Advisor to carry out a risk assessment of your premises and provide ongoing support. • Production of a detailed audit report • Supply of a comprehensive Health & Safety Information Manual • Quarterly Newsletter • Staff Training at discounted rates
How it works Once you sign up to BMF Safetyfirst we arrange an initial visit by our qualified advisor to undertake an audit of your principal premises and each of your other outlets as specified. The findings are then used to prepare a detailed audit report and your personalised health and safety manual. Of course this is just the beginning as the service aims to ensure you and your staff are fully equipped and advised on how to manage and resolve any issues that might arise.
Support
Working with your appointed H & S Manager subsequent visits by our Advisor can ensure that agreed work has been carried out and that appropriate updating, maintenance and liaison takes place. Thereafter we will aim to provide a maximum of eight hour or next day response to any queries received.
Documentation
In addition to the initial detailed audit report and a comprehensive management manual, BMF Safetyfirst Subscribers are also given model risk assessments to simplify and help identify and document the more obvious hazards.
Updates A quarterly BMF Safetyfirst Health & Safety Newsletter will be sent to you, full of practical advice. Training As a BMF Safetyfirst Subscriber, you can enjoy preferential and discounted rates for BMF in-house training courses for your employees. This will ensure they have the skills to guard your business and develop their potential to the full.
