Senior Commencement Ads The Brandeis Hoot will publish a special Commencement issue on Sunday, May 20, 2012. We are offering families the opportunity to purchase ads for graduating seniors as a way to celebrate their time at Brandeis. The Hoot was established in 2005, because students felt that Brandeis needed a community newspaper written about, by, and for the members of the Brandeis community. Since the paper’s founding, The Hoot’s growth as a newspaper - doubling in size since its inception - reflects its immediate influence on the Brandeis community. Articles from The Hoot are read worldwide and have been cited by national media outlets including National Public Radio. Immediately following the Commencement ceremony on Sunday morning, we will distribute copies of The Hoot to families exiting the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center. This is an exciting and costeffective way to commemorate your son or daughter’s Brandeis years.
