JUNE

2

2020

Bridge Family, we made it to June! Whew! What an unbelievably wild, crazy, chaotic year 2020 has been so far! I am certain that none of us would have predicted that the first half of this year would have gone the way it has so far! However, even though the year has been nuts, I can’t help but be reminded of what Jesus told

his audience of followers on the hillside by the Sea of Galilee. He looked out to them and said, “look at the birds of the air,” and then proceeded to remind them that not only has God in heaven not lost sight of the tiny little birds that flap around, but that he most definitely has not lost sight of his people! No matter where you find yourself today, no matter the news that you hear, no matter the stress that you have, be comforted in knowing that God has not lost sight of you! That said, it is so good to be able to worship with one another again… in person! We missed you all, and are definitely ready to begin moving forward.

Our new series, “The Big Book of Inconceivable Stories,” is going to be one that you won’t want to miss! We will be looking back over some of the “biggie” stories of the Bible and discovering what they reveal about God, and what that means for us! Also, Bridge University will be kicking off with classes for everyone on Wednesday Nights! It will be a great month, come be part of what God is doing here! I love being your pastor, Jim & Linda

This month will be a great month!

Gather ‘round the grill and toast Dad for Father’s Day—the national holiday so awesome that Americans have celebrated it for more than a century. Here are 15 Dad facts you can wow him with today.

8. Charlemagne, the 8th-century king of the Franks, united much of Western Europe through military campaigns and has been called the “king and father of Europe”. Charlemagne was also a devoted dad to about 18 children, and today, most Europeans may be able to claim Charlemagne as their ancestor. 9. Her ever-protective father was quoted as saying, “If I see Gerry again, I’ll spit in his face.” He also included an unflattering character named Jerry Rivers (a chauffeur) in a few of his books. 7. Andre Agassi’s father represented Iran in the 1948 and 1952 Olympics as a boxer.
