CHAARG CHAARG is an organization that has a goal of trying to change health, attitudes, and actions to recreate girls. It is a organization that provides a positive look on health and fitness and also creates lots of friendships. There is no pressure within the group. Whether you workout frequently, or not at all, no matter what level you’re on, everyone encourages you to try your best.
AKRON LGBTUA LGBTUA is a student organization that provides a safe space on campus. Everyone is welcome to come hang out and be open and be themselves. LGBTUA also provides services and information about LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) topics through events such as STD testings and LGBT history meetings. The club meets
every Tuesday in the Student Union Theater from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. You can also find it on the Student Union Concourse giving out free hugs from time to time.
ZPN Zips Programming Network (ZPN) is an organization on campus that plans and organizes events and activities for students. It is a great place to work with a variety of students and staff, and a great opportunity to gain useful skills through positive and exciting opportunities. ZPN puts on programs such as homecoming, and even has a comedian, Chris D’Elia, coming to campus on Oct. 4. Anyone can volunteer for ZPN. The organization holds meetings on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Union room 316.
