Here at Lasting Events, you are my priority from the first time we meet until you are leaving the party and starting your life as a married couple. I am here to make the planning process fun, stress free and full of love!

I completely believe in love and the thought of celebrating it to its fullest every day. I married my best friend and together we are raising our daughter. We spend our days dancing,loving football and lacrosse, outdoor fun and going to as many new events and concerts as we can. I think love is very personal and should be celebrated in any way that means something to you. I love weddings. I whole-heartily believe they should be a representation of you as a couple, and include as much of your personality as possible. My goal is to help you create the wedding you have envisioned, while handling the small details throughout the whole process. I want you to sit back the morning of your wedding and be relaxed knowing that everything has been taken care of. I am a certified wedding planner from the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada and have a background in event planning. I don’t just deal with the logistics of your day, I work with you to design a wedding that shares your story. So let’s get togetehr and start planning your wedding.

investment All packages start at a base price. after we have our free initial consultation, i will provide you with a customized package and pricing that suits exactly what you need of me. Every wedding is a little different and requires different things From me. I want to make sure you are getting exactly what you need and know exactly what to expect from me upfront. all of my weddings include a day-of-assistant. i can’t always be everywhere and require help to execute your day. this is to no charge to yo but rather to ensure that your day is set up exactly as we have planned. I am located in the niagra region of ontario, canada. i love to travel. if your wedding is out of the niagara region, travel expenses will be included in your package.

I WORK WITH YOU, YOUR IDEAS AND YOUR PINTEREST BOARDS AND PULL IT ALL TOGETHER. I HANDLE ALL THE RESEARCH AND SET UP ALL MEETINGS WITH VENDORS THAT WOULD BE A PERFECT FIT FOR YOU. I WILL BE THE POINT OF CONTACT FOR ALL VENDORS AND MANAGE YOUR BUDGET WITH YOU AS WELL AS YOUR TIMELINE. DAY BEFORE WEDDING COORDINATE WEDDING REHEARSAL PROVIDE WEDDING DAY TIMELINE TO WEDDING PARTY AND PARENTS SET UP REHEARSAL DINNER ENSURE ANY EARLY SET UP AT WEDDING IS COMPLETED

ON WEDDING DAY UNLIMITED TIME DAY OF WEDDING manage wedding party needs through entire day oversee coordination of all vendors for set up at ceremony and reception responsible for making sure all vendors set up based on contracts ensure necessary items are in place (marriage license, pen, guest book, programs,unity candle, etc). oversee and sey up all additional decor items (welcome table, gift table, sweets tabls, reception tables). ensure that gifts are locked up before dinner starts if necessary, assist any vendors with set up or distribution of items ensure set up and wedding stay on schedule ensure wedding party and family are ready for pictures line up orcessional and cue musicians to start wedding ensure the flow of teh day with mc or dj coordinate clean up and pickups ensure any vendors recieve final payments (must be sealed envelopes) ensure 1 piece of cake is packed in a to go box for bride and groom (1st anniversary tradition) prepared to handle any emergencies that may arise access to my emergency kit (and assistant’s) throughout the entire day

A MONTH BEFORE THE BIG DAY, I LOOK OVER ALL YOUR PLANS, DESIGNS, AND CONTRACTS. I ENSURE THAT EVERYTHING IS SET UP CORRECTLY, NOTHING IS MISSING AND MAKE SURE THE DAY OF YOUR WEDDING RUNS SMOOTHLY.

the fine print

all travel expenses will be included in your customized package pricing. a signed contract and initial payment are required upon booking. your event date will not be reserved until both are received by lasting events. last events accepts cash, cheque or e-transfers. checks can be made out to mallory lauder or lasting events. once payment has been received a receipt will be emailed to you within 7 days. the remaining balance will be paid monthly over teh course of the planning schedule with a set final payment due the day of the event. packages and prices are subject to change based on the requirements or additions of the event. lasting events is responsible to follow all items outlined in contract.
